Broken Mirror

First, let me say that I'm an idiot: I drove too close to a traffic control cone on my home tonight and it hit my passenger side mirror. :fishslap: No body damage but the glass in the mirror is spider webbed. So, I need new mirror glass. The heater element and motor in the mirror work fine but the glass is history. Before I go to a boneyard, does anybody know what years of Crown Vics or Grand Marquis have the same mirrors as ours? I figured I try that route first unless I can just buy the glass from Ford at a reasonable price.

If Ford or L&M don't have it (if they do it's outrageously priced), I'd check with your local FLAPS or a glass shop. There are some complete mirror assemblies on eBay for the MM.

I found a web site that lists the complete assembly for $66.28.....don't know if that's good or not. (speedyautoparts.com)...and they list other Marauder parts too, but I've never dealt with them yet, was just looking for parts suppliers.
