Short version:
I know a salesman with a lead on a new 2003 Marauder with 62 miles on her. never been titled. Anyone interested?

Lomg version:
Sarah (16 y/o daugther) totalled her Focus- license less than two months- wrong way in school parking lot (Hell, that's probably another thread). ANYWAY, Coli found a replacement Focus in Cleburne, Texas at Wright L/M. Salesman was a decent guy named Ty. I took him for a ride in the Marauder and told him about our local bunch and the site. He takes me into the office of a new salesman they've just hired and there's a picture of the shelf of this new guy, a Marauder and a bunch of North Texas Marauders (Maury, Big Joe Clancy, Bill and Kay, Steve and Linda) Small world-Bros- Small world....

Ty says, "Sometimes we come across interesting cars- Can I call you if we see any interesting Marauders?" He did. seems he can get this car and also has a pre-owned 19,000 mile example on the lot now.

Marty- Please advise if this is an appropriate disclaimer:

I have no financial interest in this vehicle. I have not been offered any cash nor consideration in the listing of this vehicle. I have not seen this vehicle nor do I know if it actually exists etc...

I just got off the phone with Ty. The new car is at a dealer somewhere in Texas (he wasn't sure where). The owner of the dealership got the call about it. If it's not the last new one anywhere, I'd bet it's the last new one in Texas.

He's the happiest man on the planet. Do you know anyone else living their lives in some kind of Jimmy Buffet/John Force fantasy camp???? The guy even has his own clothing line (albeit T-shirts only)....He's also the most popular yankee in Atlanta since FDR.

There's just some projects that need to be done by the experts !! Jefferson-Mo ought to sit back, relax, and enjoy this peaceful time. It's the last that he'll have for about 18+ years. ;)

Coli and the kids are vacationing in Mexico for the next 7 days. It's just me and the dogs at the house and things are already boring...I'm thinking of turning loose a pack of non-housetrained ferrets in the living room- It's essentially the same thing.:D

I just found out that my boat will not be in the water this weekend, so now I will be bored this weekend. Please send some of the ferrets up here for me to play with.

Another Hijacked Thread.

Now back the the subject. Don't know about that new 03 MM somewhere in Texas, but as of last Monday morning, the 03 (Black) with 6800 miles on it, was still sitting on the front row at Roswell (NM) Ford. Car was better than new. $22,900 was asking price. I drove it, and it is was all original. "Cherry". Even has Marauder Floor Mats, and the Trunk Organizor. If anyone interested, send me a private message on this group, and I will telephone my nephew out there to check the lot to see if they still have the car.
P.S., I have no interest in the sale of this car. It is just a nice "original" 300A.

What color is it? Blue, Black or Silver?

This is (of course) true:D . HOWEVER, Ty didn't know a lot about the "new" car beyond the mileage. Maybe it's 300B- maybe it's even blue. His phone number is (817) 477-5221. Good hunting, folks...There's got to be a pretty good story with this one. It sat somewhere for a very long time.

I have bought all my new cars from one sales guy at one dealer. He is currently writing a contract to FEDEX to me to purchase that 03Black MM. It has never been RDR'd (what exactly that means I dont know, but it has not been started on its warranty). The deal includes shipping it to Yuma and storing it for me until I get back.

THANKS NCMM!!!:D You have helped me more than you could know!

I have been trying to get-r-done with that second MM and this looks to be the best shot I have as yet.

On a related note, my dealer buddy spent 4 days scrubbing dealer inventories all over the country looking for a still-new-not-yet-sold MM and couldnt find any.

If there are any, I would be surprised.

wish me LUCK in this actually going through.

thanks, curt

I got an afternoon off last thursday and since I was so impatient, I drove back to yuma for the night. Got up friday and stopped into the dealer. Paid and signed the purchase contract and everything.

set up with the service manager to get the 4.10's installed and have the spoiler done up too. Even rolled it into the purchase.

So, now I am coordinating getting the FR gears and cover sent to the dealer. The service rep was a student in my occupational safety and health class I taught at the local community college in yuma...a great guy to know!!!

They have copies of several of the posts here about issues and are going to hook a brother up with getting it all checked out/fixed before I ever see the car.

Tinting is online too :)

And, if I play my cards right, I will have two Xcal/Lidio tunes waiting for me when I get back. One for the silver another for the black.

cant wait!!

thanks guys!
