Last year at Indy, I bought the Metco rear control arms and Watts Link, but never installed it. I know I can put the control arms on, but based on some people's feedback on the Watts Link, I might not want to try it in my driveway.
Can anyone recommend a shop (or dealer) to install these for me, in the Detroit Metro area? Based on everyone's recommendations, I'll probably get the Addco "sway bars" installed at the same time.

You might want to call Lidio's shop. Alternative Auto.

It's my impression that the Motor City crew does not approve of these mods, but I could be misreading that. Please keep us posted on your progress?

Metco brought one to Indy for me last year on a phone order. I took it over to Collins L-M for install. They did a super job, but it was a little tricky. It took longer than we thought and by the time my brother, 4th Horseman, and I got to Kenny Brown's, all the barbecue was gone, LOL.
Danny Boone, the master tech, actually fit the stock bushings back into the Metco watts link. He spent a lot of time making sure he didn't nick or scratch it during the install. The 200 lbs of torque on the main bolt of the link is no picnic either. What a great guy, and a great upgrade to the car. Tightened up the ride and handling right away.
Whoever does it, make sure they understand if they use the Metco bushings they have to use the specific grease that Metco specifies, and that you have to grease the fittings once a year. Regards, -kjs-

Not true, I personally have been waiting to see what kind of products came out for our suspension upgratdes. I am getting the metco control arms and watts. I also want to install the Naake duel adjustable shock/coil over spring kit. Lastly front and rear sway bars from adco. Should make the car handle completely different. When I get something for the car, Lidio is the only one to have touch the car, give him a call 586-463-0010.

I'm happy to see an opinion posted, and I'm likewise pleased to retract my stated impression. I stand corrected, thanks, Dave!
Y'all...These suspension mods will enhance your driving pleasure, please debate your wants and need accordingly.

I will do these mods too later. There are some other things I want to do first.

Dave: I have all of these upgrades and the single adjustables. I sold the single adjustables and will be installing the double adjustables possibly as soon as this week. I am at the track next Friday night and cruising next Saturday and will give my impressions afterward.
And, yeah I know I owe you a call. Just our schedules have not lined up. I have been in the office non-stop trying to justify my highly compensated position so that I can keep my hookers, I mean friends, satisfied.

Thanks, Dave. I will contact Lidio about the suspension mods.

MartyO: Has Naake added another item to their QA1s specifically designed for MM use? Dual adjustables? Still trying to get QA1s from Naake, got every other possible upgrade. Mac and Zack control arms, Addco front and rear sway bars, Metco Watts Link, widened rear wheels, lowered airbags, Toyo Tires all around. If so, maybe I should wait until you test this new product. Thanks, -kjs-

Their latest offering has dual adjustable shocks for our cars. You will be able to adjust compression and rebound independant of each other. Look real nice too. I am also waiting to get these and hopefully wont be long.

NAVCHAP,
Do you have part numbers for the Front and Rear Addco sway bars?

MI, thanks for the update on the Naake customized QA1 kits. Going to wait for those. Any more data would be appreciated. Price changes, etc. Same folks in Northern California that made the initial kit are selling them, correct?
Meteorite, sorry I don't know the parts #s on the Addco Sway Bars. Dennis Reinhart could get you that info since he ordered and installed them for me while he was doing the mods on my car.

I got the Addco stabilizer-bars via UPS today, and got the rear one in with no problems. Test drive went well. Same results as everone else. Cornered somewhat flatter, and was quicker to go where I pointed it. :)
I'll do the front stabilizer bar soon if the weather cooperates. Then the Metco control arms. Then the Steeda underdrive pulleys. I will think about the Watts link -- I think I can manage it in my driveway, but we shall see.
After all this, I'll have a list of cool stuff to put in my sig -- like most of the rest of you!

Congrats on the new Mods!
I also want to move in this direction (suspension mods) once I get a few other things out of the way.
Keep us posted!
