The paint on this vehicle makes it obvious that the owner garaged it.
My Marauder gets rain, ice, snow, mud, bird droppings, tree sap, and it sits outside day and night - Paint never looked better! I guess it must be garaged :dunno:

When I saw the Marauder on the door I knew it was in the Detroit area. There is a place in Detroit that does those Marauder names and emblems.

Like how they used the mats to try to hide the hook and missing carpet where the spare should be.
Where did the spare go? Is there a market for doughnuts?

It also has a non-"factory" moonroof (I know none were actually done by the factory) because the compass doesn't spell out the direction, the homelink symbols are different and the map lights are odd. Wonder where you'd take it if you had a problem with it?

I have an 2004 and my compass does not 'spell out' the direction and my home link and buttons look like the one on ebay.

Darryl, I have seen that car at a show or two the last couple of years around town. I am trying to remember the guys name, younger black guy, maybe in his mid to late 20's. I think he was a friend of Arnold, one of lidios customers with a silver Trilogy Marauder. We met arnold last year at the marauder dyno day. Both him and Arnold knew where to get those stainless steel MARAUDER and Godshead lettering for the fenders and doors. His car was sharp if i remember. I remember him commenting on my badgeless grill, and that he was having something like that done up for his ride.

My 04 with the "factory" moonroof has the spelled out directions, the home link buttons have 1, 2, or 3 dots and the map light buttons have what look like headlights with the light coming from them. It also appears to be shorter near the moonroof, about only 2" rather than the advertised car which looks to be much taller. The overhead console they show looks to be from a non moonroof car (matches what is shown in the factory brochures).

Can you show a pic? Every moonroof I saw looks like the one for sale.
Maybe you have the oddball control panel? I have never seen a display that spells out 'south' or 'north' etc. You buy the MM new?

My '04s panel has the compass directions spelled out too.
Maybe it's an '03 vs '04 thing.

Here's a link- http://www.mercurymarauder.com/forums/showthread.php?t=13866&highlight=Factory+Moonroof It's one Dennis Reinhart started and shows the overhead that looks just like mine! , and yes, I did buy mine brand new with only 107 miles on it and the window sticker shows the moonroof.

What Carfixer said was backed up by Steve Babcock at the Legal Knevil unveiling. The console for moon roofs is a Town Car console, though the ECM does not send it information like oil change intervals, it does display directions spelled out and not in abbreviations. Also look at the picture of the console.... those two holes on either side of the control for the sunroof are LED's that are "mood lights" that shine down onto the lower console and shifter.

I wonder if the car went to auction, hence the missing mats and spare?

Thats IS the Factory Overhead Display/Console.
It matches my 2004 MM exactly.
It never spellleds out the directions.
It only gives the abbreviations.

Refer to Directedby post #13 in this thread.....I have a factory overhead display/console too, with the moonroof, and mine does not look like that! It does however look exactly like the one in the thread from Dennis Reinhart

If it matters, I have an 04 with a moonroof that matches that picture. My headings are spelled out. Not abbreviated.
