I am kinda partial to Dark Blue Pearl. :D However, I will admit that what drew me to the Marauder in the first place was the Black, sinister look of the Marauder. :up: The Blue MM is what convinced the wife. :rolleyes: Heck, I didn't even know blues existed until that day. Didn't find out how rare they were until much later. :o

.............actually ...you will surely see some write-ins here for sure--starting with mine----oh sure--....don't get me wrong here--I like my Black---the 4 colors MM shoved on us --we had no choice--but given a choice ----well thats another adventure---so maybe a
" what 'other' color would you like to have had a choice from" would be a thingy--anyway--
I think the following would have been nice to have been offered:(exterior)
* Dark Green
* Gray
* Champane
* Gun Metal
.am sure you will see others ---.....my preference anyway---Tom

I agree black is my favorite but if I had the garage space and extra funds I would have 1 of each color. :D

While the other colors are nice (still haven't seen a silver in person yet), this bad boy was meant to be back in black!

Black is the best. But only until they invent a darker color.

Black, red, and silver are all okay with me, but I waited 9 months for them to build the blue, then spent the better part of a year and a half at sea before I actually had the car delivered to me. So Blue with White Shelby Stripes is my favorite. -kjs-
Uh,,,ok-
I'm going to be as diplomatic as possible with my answer (ooooohhhh big trouble coming ;>).
When I first REALLY thought about getting a Marauder these were my thoughts. I've always been a fan of black muscle cars from WAY back. BUT,,, seeing as most of the Marauders were going to be black, I wanted something a tad different. I was all set to go out and buy a Silver one, but IMHO the silver they used was just too light. The sunroof stood out too much, and I wasn't thrilled with the black grill (just a personal taste issue). Blue wasn't available in '04 (and I've yet to see one, though I think I'd really like it) so I drove 30 miles to a dealer to see a DTR one.
There it was, on the showroom floor, with 4 miles on it, and I fell in love with it the minute I saw it.
So, with that said, I'd have to say DTR (and maybe the blue when I see one) are my choices.
But when push comes to shove, I'd have bought it if lime green was the only color, and spent the money to repaint it.
I LOVE this car,,,,, and still no mods yet ;>.

Could not have said it better. While I love a shiny DTR and might have bought one if one was available. However, this car is has a mysterious presence which only black can fully convey.

I voted black, of course. :D I had a DTR Crown Vic, and that would've been my second choice.

I have a black MM, I wish they came out with a dark green metallic like the old Super Bees. Dark Sherwood Green Met.
If our cars weren't holding their value as they are I'd get mine repainted that color. My black looks like crap and I don't have a garage to keep it in. :mad2: :help: :down: :fire: :cry:

Well, considering that black isn't really a color, I'll take mine in not really a color.

Mine's Silver Birch; but I voted Black. It's a tough color to keep looking good, but I hold up Haggis' and Brutis' cars as outstanding examples of the beauty, and concept of the Black MM. :coolman:

I would have had an "Other" choice too... I'm guessing that with the available choices the voters would vote the color of their MM!
That being the case, we can simply look at production numbers to find the results of this pole.
:P
What if our MM has lots of different colors on it?
See ya at MV-III!

That one rock's, the door's 2 thumbs up, but like the early Marauder's my favorite was black, I'd have a black 63 now but missed up on a deal by a day, so took a big motor over color on the one I have now, my 03 will be Bad Azzed Black.......

Mine is DTR, which is okay, but I'd rather have the blue or black. If silver was the only color available, I guess I'd do without.

I was drawn to the Marauder because of the way it looked in black, but I fell in love with 2 other colors. The Silver and The Toreador Red.
Silver was just as menacing as the black as the car had a evil/sinister eyes (headights) glaring at you out of this regular color.
When I am in the Market for one its either going to be Silver Or Red as my CV is already black and the MM would be my second car.

So, what's your favorite color on the Marauder?
Black, Dark Toreador Red, Silver Birch or Dark Blue?My first choice for the best color for a Marauder was actually the Dark Blue Pearl. However, I looked everywhere and I could not find a single one (due to the very low production of 328 cars). To this day i've never seen a blue MM on the street or at a L-M dealer. My second color choice was the Dark Toreador Red (actually just a maroon metallic with a fancy name). A lot of the muscle cars in the late sixties, such as Chevelle SS's were maroon, and I had never owned a maroon/burgundy colored car. My favorite interior was the Light Flynt, especially after I actual saw it at my dealer. The DTR/Light Flynt color combination looks really nice, and its also a rare color&trim combo. Most of the Marauders have the medium/dark charcoal interior trim.
The other thing I liked about my Marauder was the price. It had all four of the only four factory available options (trunk organizer, CD cartridge player, heated seats and moonroof) , and it listed out at about $ 36,864, I think. But I got about $ 9600 off list, including the dealer discount and the various factory rebates (3). People have pissed and moaned about the list price of the Marauder since they first came out. But when you look at the real final bottom line price, this was a very price competitive car! In the year since I bought my Marauder (06-05-04), it has been 100% trouble free! Maybe I've just been lucky, because I have read all of the postings, where MM members have had problems.
I don't have any performance modifications as of yet. I'd like the K&N intake set-up, the perf tuner, maybe the 4.10:1 gears, first. I'd also like the rear decklid spoiler too! But even without one modification, the Marauder is still the real thing performance equipment-wise, and a cool car to own and drive. When I want to fly, I just turn-off the O/D and the TC. Otherwise its a very comfortable and luxurious cruiser for me and my family. I get lots of oggles and longing looks from other drivers and people walking. They ask me lots of questions about the Marauder. And the all-aluminum, DOHC V8 is awsome! I love this car!
