I have the factory moonroof, and it appears to identical to the one in my wife's Expedition. The Ford factory moonroof looks like some high school shop class put it in, so whatever you get can't look any worse than the factory job.

I have it installed my my Marauder.
It was installed with a brand new headliner also.
Everything matches and it came with a 3 yr warranty.
I've seen the factory roof on a 2005 CV and a GM and they look the same.
The only difference is the overhead console and the switch placement.
Your switch will not be integrated into the overhead console.
My switch was mounted on the rear of the overhead console.

My old black MM had an aftermarket sunroof. From the outside it looked stock. The inside had different buttons. Here are some pictures.

The factory moonroof in my '04 looks good, just as good as the after-market moonroof in my '97 T-Bird.

I had what Hack has shown above. They re-used my factory headliner and it looked great. My switches were in a different location than Hack's; mine were facing rearward on the flat panel that was left after they cut away the rest of the overhead console.
More recently, we melded an '04 console with my old style '03 aftermarket set up. It was a Major PITA (no relation to our member here, Roy L. Pita). I am looking for some pictures.....
This is a picture of the "old" style versus the "new" style overhead console. At the end of the day, it was hardly worth the cost and effort because we couldn't get the new style controls to talk to the old style aftermarket controls. I can't find a picture, but at the end of the day we ended up cutting the old style switch panel into the tail end of the new style overhead console, so the "factory" moon roof controls don't work. Unfortunately, this was an expensive failure. :( The good news is that I am usually driving so fast that I don't have time to look up and fiddle with it anyway!
