Just wondering if anyone here has upgraded their interior?
I have a black MM with the dark grey interior and I was thinking how the interior seems to just blur together.
Has anyone tried painting/dying any of the plastic pieces black? The panels that hold the window switches in the doors or maybe the a/c vents?
Just someting to break up all that monotone grey.
Let's here your ideas.

Funny you should ask! I was in the MM today and though alittle color would do it some good. The concept car had a thin red stripe on the dash.

I just want to get the color right

I saw a black MM interior for sale on Ebay. Have no idea what the story was with that.

Interesting, you'll also notice that the mini panel that holds the headlight switch/air vent is silver (or dot matrix) and there are chrome rings around the gauges.
I thought about painting the entire panel that starts at the light switch to the radio black.
Looks like a job for photoshop. :)

I like the red in the seats but I dont want to spend alot of money on the bling bling. I also like the red out line on the floor mats

There are dash kits available to accent the interior: http://www.dashkitstore.com/details.php?id=1372
They're a little pricey, but it might be what you're looking for. I had the carbon fiber kit in my '02 Taurus to break up the grey interior. It looked good. I'm still deciding whether or not to do it to the MM.
Note: I have no affiliation with the above link. Just passing some info. :D

We did a bunch of stuff to the interior of my car. New headliner, new carpet, new door skins, etc. This weekend I will get pictures of the new trunk liner.
Take a look here: http://www.legalknevil.com/gallery/Marauder and go to pages 6, 7 and 8, for a look at some of the stuff we did. Feel free to let me know if you have any questions.

I have the Light Flint interior and I think it has the right balance of lights, darks, and dot matrix dashboard trim. :D IMHO, I am happy with it exactly the way it is.

This owner made some interesting changes. Quite ambitious changes too, considering the wiring harness details involved in moving main components around. I can't say I like the end result, but I respect the effort.

I noticed those pictures a while back. I was impressed with the treatment. Particularly to the dash cover with the stitching.
