Well guys, I just wanted to say hello...today I became a member of the Marauder owner's club. I picked up a 2003 with 18,000 miles on it. It's black, and I'm quite happy with it.
Got it from a Chrysler dealer who didn't seem to know what to do with it. :) Got them all the way down from 24,995 to 21,500.
It's a great car! Just needs some 4.10 gears and a bit louder exhaust.
Just wanted to say hi as I'll now be joining this community. :)

Thanks guys, glad to be here.
I bought the car in Alexandria VA, Passport Chrysler. It was listed with 17,990 or something like that, it had just over 18k when I got to it.
It's stock except it has a bra on the front, chrome "MARAUDER" lettering in back and I'm not sure if the windows were tinted that much stock. I love the windows, they're not too dark but definitely tinted. I'm OK with the lettering but thinking of ditching the bra.
I'll get some pics tommorrow and post them!
As for friends, I already got some thumbs up just on the ride back from the dealer!
Called my dad and he said he's jealous, gonna let him see it Saturday. He's got a '99 P71 Crown Vic interceptor, were it not for the Marauder I might have gotten one of those.

Welcome to the board!
A piece of advice, if you don't already know this:
My experience with Bras is , If you position your right hand
Just so,... Oh wait Sorry lost my train:rolleyes:
Most people neglect to remove the Bra a few times a year to wash it, and wax underneath it. I have seen very nice cars have the paint chaffed off from the movement and dirt that collects under it. Also did you take it off entirely before you purchaced your MM?
Some people choose to purchace a less expensive disguise, instead of fixing damage that they have incurred.Good luck with your new sled.
You have hit the Jackpot here!

Breadfan .... welcome :welcome: to the MM.Net and Happy Maraudering !!!
I am down in the Woodbridge/Occoquan area ... we have a local group of Marauder enthusiasts that meet about once per month. Check out the Capitol Area Marauders (CAM) threads under the North East Marauder forums. Hope to have a June meet posted soon.

Welcome "Young One". You will soon learn the ways of the "Dark Side". They will include a perpetual grin and a total disrepect for "ricemobiles". You must have felt the pull, that is why you have joined us. Your choice of 4:10's must be followed by a tuner, which will make your Marauder shift better and your speedo correct. Dumping the bra..another good choice.
Waaaaahooooo!! Another Virginia member!

Well, I'm gonna go upload my pics.
As for the 4.10's, I may have to wait a few weeks...I'm dropping off my Grand Am (my trade-in) this weekend, but it's at the shop getting exhaust work. Turns out the pipe that broke is hard to find...they could only find one through GM and it's costing $725 for the a-pipe...$925 with labor...for that price I could buy a lift and do my own exhaust work... :( Makes me feel better about getting rid of the Grand Am - not a bad car, too bad it had to endure GM's cheapness...

I got the pictures up! My roommate has a really nice digital camera and is an amateur photographer thus the pictures came out pretty nice, even though it was on the tail end of daylight. Trust me you'll know when I take the pics, ha!

:welcome: :welcome: Breadfan: Bread as in David Gates and Bread? Nevermind, I guess you're too young to know who that band was.
Anyway, check out the CAM group (Capitol Area Marauders) We do lunch, once a month, usually at Big Bats on Kent Island, just over the Bay Bridge. It's an informal bunch; no cards, meetings, officers, or any of that stuff; just a good bunch of folks who like to have a good time. Bring your dad.
Welcome aboard, enjoy the ride.:)
