As usual, with a post like this, I am gauging interest for a group buy on a custom ALL CARBON FIBER intake. That means it's not going to be made cheap with fiberglass and then just one layer of carbon fiber. It will be made completely with carbon fiber, and weighly virtually nothing. :D

It will replace the current stock intake tube, look just like the stock tube (without corrugations) and will allow you to attach your stock air intake & MAFS back up to it OR allow you to slap on a K&N filter; whichever you choose. The intake will also have all stock connections for hoses and sensors - all plug and play.

Note: If anyone has a stock rubber air intake laying around because they have already installed a CAI, I would appreciate it if you would send it to me (the company needs it for mold purposes). Please PM me or email: jourdan@wi.rr.com (jourdan@wi.rr.com) - Thanks!

Metco make a carbon fibre intake which bolts onto OEM air box or aftermarket filter.

Boy, I don't even have to say anything anymore. Why re-invent the wheel. Metco Motorsports produces Carbon Fiber intakes at a reasonable price and they also support the site.
