Since I have owned my Marauder numerous funny things have occurred and occur regularly.
The local Police force put on a parade of squad cars the day after I got the car, I had gone to pick my son up from his bus stop, and one after the next, sometimes in groups of two or three would go by. This went on for 15 minutes while I waited for my son to arrive.

Two days latter driving down the highway with my other son. We were tooling along down the middle lane of traffic toword Miami, and my son just started crakin up...so I had to ask him what was so funny. He pointed out to me that we were moving much faster than general traffic, and people were almost swerving out of my way as if I had a cow catcher on the front bumper.

The Broward County Sherifs Dept. loves the car. At the airport, I have been flagged into special parking areas by the officers a couple of times at Ft. Lauderdale airport. Their general comment "nice detective car".

The Florida state troopers seem to like it too. I was delivering my sister-in-law and her daughters to the airport. We ar zipping along east on 595, The speed limit is 55, well I am going 80 in the left lane. There is s astring of cars behind me like a tail on a comet!. I went over one rise in the road, no troopers...ok.
Next rise there he is, lightin me up big time. I guess he flinched and thought it might be one of his buds, or his jaw was still hangin...whatever, I got the wave on by...other wise I would have been off to jail

Yesterday I was driving to the grocery store and the guy in front of me suddenly pulls into the left turn lane. As I went by I watched and saw him pull back out into traffic, he was really spooked. I guess I was driving aggressivly :D

Great stuff!

Last night coming home from the Costco, my Wife was driving. We turn onto the "Main" street through our development, when a Celica came up fast to pass her. She decided to give it a run. She was slowly catching the Toyota after it had past her and I was watching him and listening to the engien. A few seconds after it shifted into 3rd, I told her 100 on Sterling Blvd was fast enough, and that if we had the Reinhart Package, we would have just flat dusted him, instead of just catch him.

She plans on ordering it today at lunch.

How much of the REeinhart goodies are you getting?

The chip looks like a great idea, but there are other parts, drive shaft , rear gears etc. that I am not sure if I want at this time.

please let me know

My wife won't drive my car yet, she calls it the "Black Beast".

I just talked to Dennis Reinhart....
all the goodies, I can't wait to get them!
I am going to bring my car to his shop for the installation. Its only 120 mi out of the way on this little road trip to Newportrichie, Fl. The ride home should be an experience.

Thanks for the hello BigDog

greg....If you like the car now, wait till Dennis installs your parts. The gears really wake up the beast. The chip would be an absolute minimum for anyone just to get the tranny doing it's thing correctly. Welcome, and I envy you making the trip to Orange Park and Dennis's shop. Maybe this spring/summer when he gets the SC package ready, I'll take a vacation to Fla. and come back with a big grin!
