Will this work for our MM's ?
To disable the belt minder bells:
Preliminary checklist:
Set your parking brake
Make sure you shift the tranny into PARK
Make sure ignition is OFF
Close ALL doors
Sit in driver's seat
Unbuckle the driver's safety belt
Turn OFF all parking and headlights.
Procedure:
1). Turn the ignition switch ON, but do not start the engine.
2). Wait for the safety belt light to go OFF (takes about 1-2 minutes)
3). The following steps must be completed within 50 SECONDS.
4).Buckle, then un-buckle the driver's belt 9 times, ending with the belt un-buckled.
5). At this point, the airbag light will go on for 3 seconds
6). Within 10 seconds of the light turning off, buckle and then unbuckle the safety belt.
This will disable the BeltMinder feature for that seating position if it is currently enabled.

The correct procedure for disabling the belt-minder is in the owner's manual...my car isn't here right now, but what you posted sounds about like the rigamarole I went through...

Yes, It will. Must do the same procedure for both the
driver and passenger sides. One side at a time.

Yes, It works. I used this procedure on Merc's car at thet last CAM Meet. It was interesting to note that this procedure doesn't even show up in my owners manual.

The long procedure reminded me of all the things you have to do to unlock something in a video game.
Whats the procedure to get a bonus supercharger under the hood? I've been looking for that cheat code.
