HI Gang,

Believe it or not I might be able to make your meet. I will be in town starting the evening of the 12th for a 2 week class. I would have to make it a short visit as I will have to start driving back to the Heartland later that afternoon.
Also, if anybody is interested, I'll be staying in the Reston area during those 2 weeks, except for the weekend of 17-19 where I'll be in Charles County MD visiting friends for the weekend.

Regards,
Jay

Jay, hope you are able to make the CAM meet. :D We have a real great bunch of folks who are friendly and informed on all things Marauder related. The trip is about 1.5-2 hours from Herndon (give or take). Easy trip on I-495 to US 50 and over the Chesapeake Bay Bridge. Toll is $2.50 going over; but none coming back. :D If you need assistance or more directions, check the links on the first post of this thread or PM me, Haggis, or one of the other CAM members.

Well, you'd certainly be welcomed by the CAMarauders. :D Hope you can make it. For the scenic tour, you can take US 13 down and across the Bay-Bridge tunnel and pick up I-95 south west of Virginia Beach.

I'm seriously considering it -- want to go, just gotta make sure the schedule pans out in my favor. Things here at work are a bit crazy, I had to work 8am - 1230am on Friday...I think we'll have some lull time.

I wanna go, so I'll start planning for it... :)

Haha, yeah, think I will. I gotta check on another thing, my sister asked if I'd "DJ" at one of her friends weddings since they couldn't find anyone. Not that I'm a DJ or anything, I sorta agreed but it's unclear if I'll really be called upon.

I'm half looking forward to it just so I can load my speakers, amps, and computer into the trunk and still have room left over. :D

Oh yeah I think that's the 26th...so...if so that'll work out fine.

I'm definitly wanting to see some S/C'd Marauders and also check out some with 4.10's...at the moment I'm entirely stock. Oh yeah would also LOVE to hear some different exhausts...

Oh, just wait until you hear mine. One of them Black & Blue burgers and a glass of Buttermilk, and I'm in fine tune. Wait, wait, you mean the CARS. Gordon, AKA HAGGIS has the coolest setup, get him to show his bolt on/off deleate tips. :)

Hi Mike! Good to see you at Carlisle. Sorry I didn't spend much time with you at Carlisle...My brother and I were doing some serious parts hunting most of the day.
I'll try my best to make the 25th meet...Sundays are much better for me but I'll see if I can pack Marianne in the Cobra and burn 'a little' Sunoco 94!!!

As of today we are free for the 25th, hope it stays that way.

Charlie...(hint), when you organize a meet pick a day you can attend and let everyone else schedule around you and if they want to come they will be there.

I see your trying to steal my job now, :alone: I will make the reservations with Big Bats as we get closer to the date.

Has anyone heard from GordonB or Bob (Murader03) lately???

Philip Morris is the sponsor of the Indy Car event and it's always a great time. I have several relatives that work for the Tobacco Company, and they usually dangle a couple of carrots my way. You could also walk to the gates and workout a deal for under face value.

We could all meet at FFW in Richmond, hint hint...

Do you think that we might hit some 'Heading to O.C." Bay Bridge traffic on Saturday??
I would say yes !! :D However, I think the majority of the traffic tends to leave early in the morning and start thinning out between 1-2 PM. It'll still be a little heavy getting through the tolls .... but you shouldn't hit any jams too far back. ;) Of course, I may be entirely wrong. So, sue me !!!

I hope that the weather is good and the traffic is light...the Cobra doesn't like to idle for too long in traffic! :(

The headers and side pipes start to cook your feet if you aren't moving. :fire:

Check out this site for Bay Bridge traffic (http://www.mdta.state.md.us/mdta/servlet/dispatchServlet?url=/News/newsCenterMain.jsp), it gives the current conditions and shows the traffic cameras. See you all next week.

Bad news guys - I'm getting pulled to Columbus Ohio for work that weekend. I really doubt I can make it at this point. I might have to miss this month...really a bummer, I was really looking forward to it.

If I do miss it I'll be at the next one for sure. Considering work helps me keep my Marauder I'm not sure I can say no on this one. :)

Understand that the turnout for Saturday's CAM Doo was a little thin. Sorry gang ... I thought that the 25th was the day that would work for most people. I guess things change. :o Hope those that attended had a good time. I'll definitely be there next time .... missed the gang. :(

As for me .... I was a little preoccupied. What a whirlwind day !!! Everything turned out perfect and I couldn't have asked for a better day. :D
