I went up to the show Tues 6/7/2005 and asked what types of vehicles they usually display (6/7 was the Mustang/Cougar day with models up to 2005).

The guy asked what kinda car I had. I told him a Merucury Marauder, which of course he asked the year, told him 2003. His reply was "I don't think that is the type of car we show here, we show special cars", answering it like he may have never seen the car before, and maybe only knew of the 60's/70's Marauder's. There are no posted rules, so I don't care. There were plenty of not so special cars there 6/7. Besides, the Marauder is one of the very few rear wheel drive sports sedans from 2002-2004 that 30yrs from now will be a "CLASSIC". Aren't some of the 30yr cars now, non-special when they hit the showrooms?

Anyhow, we can grab spaces further back. Note: The rear entrance doesn't have the cruise night staff running it, so any vehicle can get in. The front entrance however may have you turned away. Getting there by 6PM, you shouldn't have problems, but if weather is real nice, it may be tough to even get in after that.

Solon is a big show with alot of cool cars,but Ive heard they wont let us in to new.But if we show in force,what can they say.10 to 1 I bet there are new C6s and 300cs there.:D Im in where do you want to meet?

Hopefully next Friday the 17th at 42 if I can clear out of Michigan at a reasonable time.
The weather is supposed to be excellent with a cold front moving through for less humid cooler evenings.

Marks got a car show going at the Airport, and Jerry's got this Solon meet cookin.

We've all got to get together soon and hit Norwalk. I've come to the decision 42 ain't gonna get me the times im looking for.

I smell a Quaker Steak Sheffield visit one of these Sundays also. And...Im not sure if you all know this or not...but the Quaker Steak Valley View has a car show on Monday nights as well.

Stopped at Quaker Steak, Sheffield tonight, without the MM. Threat of rain, just sprinkled, so not as many cars, but still a good turnout. Had to make sure the wings were hot and the beer was ice cold.:up: :beer: It was a rough job, but someone had to do it.:D
