For the second year in a row my Son entered our Marauder in the Modified Mercury Class. Last year he won third Place, this year he won Second Place. He said the Marauder was a crowd gatherer and a crowd pleaser in particular because of the Reinhardt mods.

Way to go! We never saw where you guys were, or the car. You didn't come back Sunday, I suppose. Ralph Sr. and his brother Thomas took 1st & 2nd in the stock class. We don't know about 3rd, because the Mercury Cougar that placed 1st origonaly, was disqualified (wrong class)

The Mercury Modified class had (2) Marauder's in it.
The one spoken of above is my fathers. The last two years I have been at carlisle with our marauder. As he said last year we had a 3rd place finish behind two comet's. This year we had a second place finish behind the a comet and the 3rd place finisher was a cyclone. There was also s very nice black 03 marauder with black powder coated rims and wet Nos that was very nice. I did get to see the other marauder in the stock class but I had more time to walk around on Sunday and many of them had gone.
The Modified Mercury class section was up on the hill about 3-4 lanes down from the dyno machine. I did get the pleasure to speak with many other marauder owners. I hope everyone had as great a time at the show as I did.
