Console Hole?

Sorry for a stupid question, but is there supposed to be some type of plastic insert in the center console storage area hole towards the back where the lid meets the console? I know there's got to be an inlet there for the button on the rear of the lid to fit, but on mine there is just a hole that looks as if something was supposed to be there.

I got a hole too. Center console, at the rear of the storage bin, and towards the driver's side. I see a plastic plug/retainer towards the passenger side here, and I see an open hole towards the driver's side. Then I looked at the console cover, the arm rest we flip up and down, and I found an alignment pin protruding down from that, which matches this hole. Do you have this?

Do you have this?Yes, that is what I was trying to reference. I just noticed it really today, and the hole seemed somewhat larger than the plastic alignment pin/peg in the bottom of the arm rest on the driver's side, and it almost seemed to me that there should be a plastic sleeve or something in that hole for the alignment pin to engage. Just looks a bit odd is all. But as long as it works...!

The hole bottom right is a power port ala cig lighter socket. Mine came with a small plastic cap.

Hey Norm, are you talking about the indent for a power cord to go through it so one can close the lid and have something plugged in at the same time?

Sorry for the dealy Wes, just saw this. No, it's the hole at the rear left as referenced by the posted pic looking at it from above. Not the power point hole. It's evidently there as a detent for the lid projection to settle into. Seemed to me as if it should be more than just a plain hole, and I thought maybe a plastic plug had been in there at one time.

From what Sergeant Mac said I think this is the OEM default.

Yep, mine has the small plastic cap too. It has a little retainer ring and strip to keep it close by when you are actually using the port. :D
