removing overhead console

WHO KNOWS HOW TO REMOVE THE OVERHEAD CONSOLE? I'd like to take it off...drill three very small holes where I will mount three little GREEN LED lights. that at night will come on and give the front area a green glow. Much like a BMW 5 series if anyone has been in one. Well it is orange in the bmw 5 series but that would match the marauder.

There are three screws... once those are removed.... you pull from the front.... evenly.... but VERY HARD. I mean.... when you sure you are pulling hard enough to break something.... pull a bit harder.

That console is a PITA to get down.

There is a rather lengthy description on the board someplace that says how to do it....but I ran a search for overhead console and didn't stumble across it.

Perhaps you will have a better luck. If you do that search you can also see what other LED things have been done ... perhaps you will like one of those?
