Sorry about the short notice, but y'all should consider stopping by this event. It may be an eye opener for you. I went last year, and look at me now?

I'll be there after 2 PM, come hang out for a while? I promise you'll meet some "cutting edge" guys who know their way around our 4.6L engines. You'll probably see some hard driving street machines too. If you're in the area, and have an hour or two, you won't be wasting your time driving over here. This is more like a training seminar than a "meet", or, a "show." Good food, and free too!

I think I have a more interesting itinerary...

CMC, Chicagoland Mustang Club, is having a meet in Downers Grove on Saturday the 18th at noon. This is supposed to be a real crazy turnout with, so far, 30 confirmations. Sounds like one hell of a meet. Anyone with me? Be there at noon, convoy about 20 minutes to PER's gathering at 2:00 PM?

I duno, some "huge" parking lot. There are 5+ restarants at that corner. I think I'll be going to listen to some exhaust clips as I plan to modify my exhaust soon.

I went to the CMC meet, it was pretty good, they had lots of cars.

Thanks to you all who made it to today's car show at PER.

I expected to be standing around with my hands in my pockets, and it was all quite different from that. Questions flowed non-stop, start to finish, even had trouble getting out of the parking lot without being flagged down for "just one more thing..." stuff. They like the Marauder, big time.

I drove away with a neat PER tee shirt, NMRA key fob, a real nice Brodix baseball cap, and a goody bag full of crap I still haven't peeked at. But, it was all non-stop fun and endless chat with fellow enthuiasts. Oh, BTW. I took home a trophy too. "First Place Street Race Car." Ummm...Cool! All of it free too, including lunch, and an "urgent" invitation from one of the show's producers to bring my Marauder to another of his shows in six weeks.

So, my OG/MM (original gang/old girl) has a date for 30-31 July, at the NMRA/NHRA National "All Ford Show and Shine" event at Joliet. I think she'll be real purdy, an real fast by then.
