I wish I could order it now, but it will be one of those backburner type of mods when money is available. But one question, does the kit come with the extra piece of cloth like Marty's did to protect the emboridery from everyday driving?

Yes. If you get the kit, there is enough extra material to cut your own cover piece, then have some strips of velcro sewn onto it. If you get the cover instead of the kit, extra material is included so you can still make your own protective cover.

Very nice! I really like the lettering on this trunk lid liner, but overall I like the fit and look of the one I got from Wes. It curves a bit more at the bottom and seems to fit very well, but I do think this one gets the font as shown at the bumper a bit more accurately.
I do plan on getting one of these for my hood insulator though. I hope to get one in red lettering with the silver Godshead logo, that will match the red lettering and silver flag on the trunk lid.
Thanks for sharing!

Thanks for the update Alan !
You have a very good looking product.
It is nice that we have some choices for our vehicles.
With the limited support we have because of the number of Marauders present,
it is nice to know that our members have additional support for accessories.
Good luck with your sales. Thanks for compliment. It actually looks far nicer in person. Pictures just can't do it justice.

We use a board that is waterproof and thus, won't be affected by even condensation. We've left it laying outside in 7 straight days of rain, submersed it in buckets of water.....nothing. Even a small amount of condensation combined with heat will cause some boards to warp. If you've ever seen the rear boards in the back windows of some older 60/70s cars, you'll know what I mean. Next, we use a specially ordered material that is heat resistant and impervious to just about any automotive fluid. Next, we use a bonding agent that actually gets stronger the hotter it gets. Its really quite amazing stuff. WAY beyond 3M super adhesive which will release under extreme heat. Finally, we use German thread for color fastness and durability.
Thanks and I hope the above is helpful.

... or maybe I should just close the accounts of everyone who decides to spend my morning for me cleaning up this bullcrap.
Every last one of you knows better than to pull this crap. You'd think this was a supercharger thread.
GROW UP.
