:D After All I Believe:d Its A Good Combo....So are you saying that you have this combo also? I remember that there was atleast one other member here who does besides "QWK SVT" but I didn't remember if it was you or someone else. I know that Logan at one time had both, however I'm not sure if he had them both at the same time. Fast trucks. I had to make my Marauder engine work harder than it ever has before on the street just to get by one, and it was in it's stock form (owner works with me).

2003 Dark Shadow Gray Lightning is my daily driver. The Marauder and Lightning do make a good combo!

I think you better be careful, those "Slow trucks", may hand you a bit of humility!:D

I would be, "interested" to see that match-up!

That would be me. Talking to Greg Evans about his Factory Tech. Valvebody for both the 4R100 and 4R70 trannies. Should be interesting. Firmer shifts and makes the tranny last a bit longer. I'll be getting a Trilogy once I don't have a double payment to make. And have some extra money.

I almost bought a Lightning once but the two seats turned me off.

If they would make a 4 door model simular to the Harley Davidson model and I might just seriously consider one.

:nono: Be careful what you wish. There are many, many Lightnings that would literally hand you your ass if desired. I own a Lightning and a Marauder so don't think I'm just some schmuck thats trying to flame something. The Trilogy equipped Marauders are spooky fast and theres no doubt, but, Have you seen some of the Lightnings that are out there ? 11 - 10 - and even a few 9 second trucks !!! Speed is in proportion to how much money you want to spend so, lets just enjoy our cars and trucks and play nice, besides, the Dodge Boys are starting to get serious now so we have a new enemy to watch out for. :burnout:

Buddy of mine in his blue lightning ripped a Trans-Am a new one at Great Lakes Dragaway a few weeks ago. Also took home $200 because of it.

Quit tempting me so much! :nono: With Dodge throwing a hemi into eveything with 4 wheels, I come to the realization I need to add some umph to the Marauder, but still think I can stay true to my plan... Get into the 13's and be happy... But the thought of hearing the blower whine in the MM is very tempting :o

I'd put the hitch back on the Lightning, to tow the Marauder to the track, and put on a bumper sticker "EVEN MY TOW TRUCK CAN BEAT YOU" :baaa:

There's more than a few 11-second ones running around, some of which are treated as true street vehicles (either daily driven, or at least not towed to the track)...

The best thing about the Lightning is the first 1-second in et drop is ridiculously easy to achieve... My best run stock was 13.6. With my only power adding mods being a modest pulley change (many add 2 or 4 more lbs of boost than I did), K&N FIPK, ported blower and chip, I've gained a substancial amount of power (68HP/70TQ) and am now being held up by stock rubber (with 20,000 miles and many passes, they're pretty well done for).

Aerodynamics of a brick don't help the top end, but with my 0-60 measured in the 3.9 - 4.2 second range, most races are over early enough that I don't have to worry. I've just learned not to pick on Vettes from a 60mph roll. It's not too pretty :shake:

LOL.... I've never been into bumper stickers at all, but I must admit, that's one that would be well worth it. So I think that should settle it for you. You're just going to have to get your Marauder S/Ced so you can put that sticker on your truck. :D

My idea (i.e. logic) to save money on gas is to park the daily truckster ('02 DSG F150 HD S/C) and get the business partner an 05 Ford Freestyle AWD.

let's see....
5.4 L vs 3.0 L
10 mpg vs 19-20 mpg
Project truck vs daily family transporter

:beer:Not too shabby. I guess I dream of having two supercharged vehicles, but I just can't afford that, so maybe that's why I'd be very impressed to see that someone here had two of them who isn't a vendor (I know that Lidio has three of them, but I'm speaking of non-vendor board members).
