I've been waiting for the title, and finally it's here
Processed it at the DMV today.
Back in the middle of Feb I bought the Marauder from Mrs Marauder.
I'm very happy with it, it's a great car. 300B, pre decontenting.

Mrs Marauder is a great lady. Very automotive active. Hopefully she'll still participate here.

Why did she sell it?

She's best to answer that, but she sold it for personal reasons

Makes sense. Wasn't meant to pry. Just wondered if she didn't like it, and if not, why not!

RC: Back when Mrs. MM got her car (I believe it was her second because of problems with the first), she posted that she had a pre-decontented 300B and I posted that I wanted her car. I am glad you bought it. I found one just like it here in NY and bought it. Great car, isn't it?

It's not a great car if you read Consumer Reports. Just got my issue in the mail and they call it a "puesdo" sports package with all the short comings of the GM. Consumer Reports has a very obvious anti-american car company bias that from my experience dates back to at least the 1970s.

My mother just read the Consumer Report to me like two days ago. Said that the appreciation value is below average, as well as safety and reliability. I personally think it's a slanted POS report...

Well they got one out of three then. Maybe.
The appreciation value for this car is non-exsistent............yet !
We will all have to wait and see how it shakes out in the next couple of years. As far as safety and reliabilty.......that is a bunch of BS.
How is a 5 star crash tested car not safe ????? What crap.
They could nail it for fit and finish if they wanted to but reliability has not been an issue. I don't waste my time reading that rag anymore. :po:

Consumer reports is behind the times. I'm not sure they have even sat in a Marauder, and I get the impression they are unaware of the 2003 chassis changes.
What is sad about it is people read their stuff and take them seriously.

Safety of the Panther platform is below average? That's a joke.

RC - Good luck with your new ride. Don't believe everything you read the panther platform is probably the safest car on the road today. JOHN:D
