You never know when we might want to build a site. I went ahead and registered a handful of domain names that we may or may not find useful at some point. I'm in no hurry to build anything until there is an expressed need. Nothing worse that a "enthusiast" site with no enthusiasm.

ecmm.us
ecmarauders.us
emeraldcitymarauders.us
mercurymarauder.info

The last one I picked up last year. Not sure if its useful but felt the urge to grab it when I saw it wasn't registered yet.

PS. This is what I do for a living so the sky is the limit as far as what we could do with it. So put on your thinking caps and post some suggestions as to what might be useful. No sense in duplicating much of what MM.net already offers.

I'll start...
password-protected MM.net member lookup.
Local buy/sell list
calendar of local events (members can add to it)

Actually the domain name registration piece is only a small part of what I do. I build web sites (mostly e-commerce). Been at it since 1995... 1997 as a full-time biz.

I guess I should have checked on here as well for those of you doing web site building.

Here is who I've hired to build mine... http://www.nuephase.com/

And just one of the front pages you can find under "PORTFOLIO" on their page.... http://www.nuephase.com/vet_build/mnx.html

They do excellent work! In my opinion....

Looks nice. This is the type of company I usually have some sort of reciprocal sub-contract with. They do the eye candy and i do the plumbing. :D

Sounds good. I kinda like what the Windy City crew has going on with there page. (Or is it the Motor City crew?) Unfortunatly, I don't have the eye candy skills.

Dang Todd, they make a web page look and sound like a vidio game! You will have to post the link once they have you up and running.
