Rust color MM

First off, I am sorry the pictures are so dark. I came out of my building tonight and there was a MM not painted an OEM color. I had to get some pictures of it. Of course the sun was going down. I did card it so maybe we will hear from the owner. By the way, it looks like a very high quality paint too.

I seam to only see black MM's around here, There was a silver one at my work but the guy was on Medical leave last time I checked. I need to tell him about this site.

thats not standard dark torrador red?

edit: just did a side by side comparison with a DTR in the gallery and it is darker than the one oin the gallery but that could be becuase of the lighting/ camera.DTR is a standard color.....

It sorta looks like a DTR. :dunno: Maybe they had a special treatment or finish added on top. :rolleyes:

Could be DTR as seen under those sodium amber colored outdoor lights.

it is a rust color. I do know the difference in the two. There are several MMs around Detroit that are painted different colors. If I see this car here in the daylight I will get better pictures. Trust me, it is a rust color. Actually, I like it a lot. Two bad Ford doesn't have this color. Very rich looking.

My MM is a DTR. I'd like to see daylight pictures of the car. I can tell its not a DTR, a DTR in the dark is a very dark maroon and that car is red. A DTR is only red in bright sunshine when the metal flaking shows in the paint.

Havent seen the rust colored one but i did see one the other day that looked like it was Pearl or Parchment colored. It was going the other way so i didnt get a good look at it. Looked good with exception of the MARAUDER rear bumper inserts on the drivers door above the moulding.

I see so many of these things (including blue) you would never guess they only made 10,000 of them. But this is the motor city....

I gave the guy a MM card. I also put a Trilogy flyer on it. I hope that he chimes in since I am having such a hard time getting guys to believe that it is "not" a DTR MM.

Listen to this, I was at the mall , and I see this marauder painted metallic Gold I could not believe what I was seeing. So I tell my Buddy A mgr at my L/M dealer he said yes it is true. They leased the car to someone and the guy had it painted metallic gold, he said the guy will have to buy the car at the end of the lease or pay for the repaint back to factory.

I believe that its orange. Theres tons of custom marauders out here in the Detroit area. I've even seen a black one with a purple marble effect to it.
