Dude !
My last 3 high dollar cars have come from Minnesota, Kentucky, and Vermont!
Arkansas... that is a cake walk!
I mean, you can fly out on a Friday.... and be home Sunday evening! Especially if you aren't fighting winter weather like my banzai run to Vermont last January!
Pay for my plane ticket and you can have a co-driver. We can nip over to Arkansas and bring it back !
It is only 1167 miles from my front door! A good days worth of driving ( I am talking about a 14 - 16 hour day ) and you have 1k miles in the bag!
Heck.. 4th of July weekend coming up.... even have a long weekend !

If anyone is really willing to pay that much for an immaculate blue Marauder, please let me know. I might have a car for sale soon.

Isn't it kinda hard to rip the top off the Z06 and let the wind blow all the stuff around your car?

I made a comment Last year, to the wife, about Two Marauders.
She did not hit me!:fishslap:

Can I chew you down a bit?:P

That is a nice looking car and is even an '03 300B. Just a couple problems for me:
1) No sunroof - really think I want one
2) Light Flint interior - needs to be dark charcoal
3) Price is still too high - nice car, but out of my range
It will be either Black or Silver Birch for me and with the dark charcoal interior.

What I don't understand is how all of the standard options on our Marauders
constantly get listed as OPTIONAL ACCESSORIES !!!
There were only 4 options !!!
Heated Seats and Mirrors
Trunk Mounted CD Changer
Trunk Organizer
Moonroof (Late 2004)
Don't these dorks realize this ???

The car has a little over 14K miles and is in immaculate condition. It also has the all charcoal interior, which is in my opinion is much more desirable than the light flint.
I really have no intention of selling it unless someone makes me an offer I can't refuse.

Too, true.
And speaking of which, was the moonroof then standard or not an option at all on the '03 300A and 300B. Junst wondering if a moonroof will be an option on an '03 since that is the price range I will be in. And same question on the heated seats and mirrors. I would really like the heated seats, too. Can't remember if those were available on the '03 300A? I know the tunk organizer and CD changer can be added at any time.

Mercury didn't make any 2003 Marauders with moonroofs. Finding a reputable specialist to put one in is no big deal though. We got our car about 15 months ago and our moonroof about 12 months ago... love it. You'll find more '03s with sunroofs, but they are aftermarket.
No heated seats in the 300A's... that was my wife's only request & I needed blue, so I knew we were looking at 300B's.
I'm not positive the mirrors are linked to the seats though, they run off the rear defroster switch... I thought they were standard equipment.

I am sure your car is, all you say.
I agree with your interior color preference.
Your not Italian? :jk: R U?
How come you would think of selling your Marauder?
You have not made it faster, than the ZO6 yet! :D

Italian? Not even close.
I love the Marauder, but it does not serve its intended purpose for me very well. I bought it as a year round daily driver, but I am so damn protective of it that it is becoming quite a hassle. Selling the Marauder would also be a cost avoidance, as I will likely have to dump at least $10K in mods into it to get it to perform the way I want it (plus the cost of a new daily driver).
But you only live once. It will likely become supercharged and toy # 2 in a year or so. :beatnik:

The heated seats are controlled by a rocker switch on the front door panels.

OK, I know, kind of off topic, but no factory heated seats or moonroof on the 2003 300A? If I want the heated seats, then at least a 300B. And if I want both from the factory, it would be a 2004? Right?
