Fender Badge Update

Well, more people said that they actually wanted fender badges than actually sent orders (i.e. sent payment) for them. Despite that, I went ahead and placed an order with my vendor and ordered extra sets to make the vendor minimum. Now all I need is a couple of dozen Marauders sitting in my driveway and I will have extra badges to put on each of them....

Anyway, I spoke to the vendor again yesterday and he said the badges should be ready in about 3 weeks. In the past he has often delivered faster than promised.

When I receive the orders, I will pack them, and send them out by priority mail, which generally takes two to three days from when I drop the orders in the mailbox.

For those of you who placed pre-paid orders, thanks! For those of you who promised to order but didn't or want to get in on this later on, you may have to pay a "market availability adjustment" like they charge at the auto dealerships. :rolleyes:

It seems likely that this will be the last order of fender badges produced by me. The Marauder dynasty may be coming to a close -- even Dave has his car listed for sale.......

Thanks for the update... way cool of you to fill the order with your own money... shame on the slackers here for saying they would chip in and leaving you in jam... very classy of you to make it happen!

Marty, even though I bea-ched about the finish weathering poorly only to discover all I needed to do was wax them...duh...:rolleyes: :fishslap:...they are/were/will be the best looking badges ever produced and shame on those who backed out.

I get newbies all the time around here ask about those badges and I tell them it's a done deal. I was unaware you made more. I will direct them post haste.;)

Just wait. You will sell out again, and a year down the road the line will form again.

Perhaps the original 'one time only, unique, snooze you lose' idea was the best plan all along. :dunno:

Thanks for the effort and the update Marty. When I had a '95 Impala SS, I added fender badges. I got more positive comments on them than anything else on the car.

The badges should be ready to ship by the end of the week. They will ship via Priority Mail so for those that placed pre-paid orders, you should receive them by no later than early next week.

Getting these badges from Marty, is like shopping at Costco.

You get there, see something you like, and you say to yourself, "I'll get it next time.",
only to find out next time that Costco has sold out and they aren't getting any more !!!

So if you haven't learned your lesson YET, get your check in the mail !!!
