Boy the prices of gas around here:rolleyes:

$2.33 for 91 octane(that's the most we get):eek:

Now correct me if I'm wrong here..............

WOT=more air

more air=more efficient use of gasoline

but man I'm goin' thru this tankfull like I have a leak:burnout:

We haven't exceeded $2.00 a gallon for 91 octane here in SLC yet, but we will soon I'm sure. But you know what? Screw it. I knew when I bought this car that it'd cost me more to run it. I didn't care then and I don't care now. I have so much fun with it that I'd pay $5 / gal if I had to. :cool4: :burnout:

Think of WOT like a jet with full afterburner on. Yes your prossesing a lot more air but the fuel is being used at almost double the rate,for about a 25per. increase in power. In a v 8 its not as pronounced but your fuel air mix remains almost constant. I did say almost. Anyhow a v 8 works best at about 2000 rpm as far as fuel and mechanical economy go. You can go past that but you pay a big penalty. ; )

Everything considered (purchase price, insurance, mods, tires) gas is only a small part of the over-all price of a car. Of course I drive by a station that currently charges over $3 for a gallon of premium.

I recant my remarks to the attendant.
93 at Citgo was $1.86. I guess it was just the shock of $29.50 fill up.

Honestly, I don't think I have EVER paid that much to fill a vehicle smaller than a truck?
