Beginning July 1, all nonfactory tint will have to be inspected to make sure it's no more than the 35% allowed. If you pass, they put a sticker on each tinted window showing it passed. Five dollar inspection fee. There are a few exemptions[ medical, ect] but they require a doctors signature on a proper form displayed on your dash. % of tint hasn't changed, just the inspection process. I've got 35% tint but I'm wondering if that and the tint orginally on the window will make a total tint of more than 35% . Is this common in other states? Fine of up to 1.000.00 ! :fire:
