Finally...

I got a chance to get to the track and run my beast. Ahh what a joy it was to run her wide open. The first run is always the best and what better to destroy than rice...a nicely mufflered Civic. 4 car lengths (mines not hers) at the end...a 2 sec destruction. My time 14.43 @ 95mph....hers....slow. The next races...a Z28 got me by half a length unknown time because the individual in the booth did not see the 422 on my window and gave me the wrong ticket. The next two runs went 14.9 and 14.7 respectively. My last race...I got destroyed by a modded Mach 1. I was completely pleased with my baby's runs today. With the Stainless works headers and exhaust in the works...the N/A 13's will be here soon.

Congrats on your numbers Wayne...now all you need is gears and a good tune. :up:

The headers make a big difference...but race fuel in conjunction with a special tune for THAT fuel will get you there when you find tires that hook. A torque converter will slash your times quite a bit as well.

Must have been Capitol Raceway....Those numb-nuts have lost/fouled up my timeslips on TWO different visits there.
The last time I was there, I blew up my oil pump gears on a GREAT run...I just barely lost to a 13.9 Vette and Capitol lost my timeslip :mad2: .....
Who knows what I ran, but it was a lowwww 14 for sure (N/A with 3.55 gears!) :(

The mods in my signature include gears and a tune by Lidio. It was a good time thought and yeah Joe it was at Capital. Like I said the best run I think I had was with the Z28. Got him out the hole and throught the eighth, but he pull a half to a full length on me right at the finish. B est run of the day no doubt.
