I saw 100 last week! First time I have seen triple digits.

Conversely what is the lowest? I saw -3 when I was bringing my car home in January of this year.

Here are my record temps (in celsius)...

Highest: 40 (about 104F) a couple weeks ago, while stuck in stop and go rush hour traffic, on what was the hottest day of the year (to date, at least)

Lowest: -22 (about -7F) in December, when we had a bitter cold streak for a week, or so.

Oddly enough, I"ve found my HVAC reading is consistently higher than the Weather Channel reports, or the thermostat afixed to my house. Wonder if it's the black paint causing the increased reading?

My lowest I've seen is 0F.

My temperture reading is pretty accurate.
When I am in NYC, the difference is usually only 1F from my display to the radio.
Here is Westchester, I don't know where they take the temperture reading from,
but its usually aboiut 4 - 5F lower than my display, but I am in Yonkers
and that can account for the difference if the measurement is taken further north in Westchester.

Does your display read in celsius? What about your other instruments?

It gets as high as 160F in Iraq.

The Weather Channel reports are taken from airports in your area which is accurate for that general area. The thermometer I have outside my garage will tell a slightly different story. I.e. 100F yesterday when TWC said only 90F.

Yep - It's a Canadian car, so pretty much everything is metric. Temps are Celsius. ODO in km/h and Speedometer is reversed compared to yours. My BIG numbers (outside ring) are Km, with smaller numbers (inside ring) being mph... My speedo goes to 220 ;)

So, not only don't you know how far anything is you don't know how cold it is either?

So, not only don't you know how far anything is you don't know how cold it is either? :lol:LOL ! There is a combination of 2 buttons you can activate on to switch at will from Celsius to Farenheit. Don,t the US models have that facility ?

My car MAY do that, but since I understand Celsius as well as I do Sanskrit I probably would think my car was broke.

Actually, I've learned both metric and imperial... I can do the math pretty quick, but my car tends to hover at the 120km/75mph mark most of the time, anyway:burn:

There must be a way, but I've never looked for it... In my 95 Cougar, I had to turn A/C to max, fan to max, and hold the "warmer" and "colder" buttons together for a couple seconds... Ford really likes to make it difficult, but it's like finding "Easter eggs" on a DVD.

:lol:I found it in the owners book, page 34: Temperature conversion
Press MAX A/C and DEF at the same time for one second to switch between Fahrenheit and Celsius.
