Got tired of birds pooping on my car, haven't washed the car for 2 weeks, still looks decent. If it lasts one year it will be worth the $160 I paid for it.

Nice one! :D
$160 is cheap compared to the burns the birds leave.

Dayum, Javier, very smart of you. I'm sure Smokie appreciates your effort to provide some shade. If I had the ground space available to me, this would be one of my choices. Nice job!

Nice job! Thanks, yeah I have plenty of room, I actually use to have a real garage but.....that's a long story. One year, that's all I ask for and it will be worth it...

Very nice .... good idea. How does it stake to the ground?
Pretty sure that my local homeowner's association would blow a gasket up here though !!

Pretty sure that my local homeowner's association would blow a gasket up here though !! :rolleyes:It came with some cheesy 10" smooth spikes, I have lots of tents from when my kids were in the Boy Scouts, I have some serious 18" spikes that I used.. homeowner's association...yes they can be intrusive, last time I checked they have never made a mortgage payment for me....so tough noogies....besides I can make it dissappear in about 15 minutes...

Mr. X....those things work great. I use one here for the beater vic. Only trouble up here is that those tents won't support snow.
Make sure to tie it down nicely at all six poles. Mine once disappeared. I found it three yards over (some 900 feet) and damaged 3 of the poles.

Hurricanes give warning so I hope I don't have to take it down too many times.:D

It looks good but just one thing is puzzling me:
To park your MM inside there why does your hood have to be up?
Did it say to park it then lift the hood or lift the hood then drive the car into the garage? Seems like the instruction manual might be wrong (silly Chinese) so I would try parking it and seeing if you can keep it closed.

:DIt's a Ricer fly-trap, Trilogy style. Curious ricers see the hood up, poke their heads in for a look and WHAP!

Glad to see someone other than me has gone this route. I went ahead and got two MotoShade 10 by 20's about a month ago just for this purpose ! I havent ordered the side panels yet but will due to fargin felines climbing on the vehicles. Picked up some grass carpet too ( 12 by 22 ) so now the RoadPigs will have some shade at the local open shows. If my neighborhood committee (nazi's) throws a fit, they had to climb OVER my 8 foot Privacy fence and they too can take a colonic as far as I am concerned....

Yeah, it does, but a very clean one ! A little tip for everyone with these for added support/drainage...HULA HOOPS ! Stick them between the frame and canopy and you wont have pockets of rain, leaves and possibly snow ... I am also going to put the legs through some used up tire rims and then re-attach the plastic foot at the bottom to keep it stationary instead of becoming a huge 10 by 20 kite....

ACK! Hurricane season makes me nervous for you SSM guys.
Ya'll should get a group deal on a storage space...like concrete and away from heavy wind and such.

May I ask where you found that for $160? I have been shopping for an additional garage or two myself.

Pep Boys, you pay $180 for both kits (the 4 sides are separate) and there is a $20 rebate.:)
