Well actually just Peanut Butter. Did a search and didn't find this, so I thought I'd share it with younz, a cleaning tip using PB.
Before washing, to remove the excess/left over wax build up on the key pad, use peanut butter. The oil in the peanut butter breaks down the wax build up and leaves no residue. Then wash as normal. I got this tip from another website I'm a member of. Try it if younz already haven't.
Logan, Could sticky this in the How-To's?

Logan, Could sticky this in the How-To's?I used to have a MINI Cooper. Peanut butter was suggested as a way to clean wax that got onto the black trim around the wheel wells. I never tried it, but many MINI Cooper owners swore by it.

Why do I picture STLR FN sitting at home laughing like mad at the thought that folks are putting peanutbutter on their Marauders!

As much as I like to claim that I'm laughing my arse off, I'm not. I got this trick from a Ford truck site. I use it on my F-150 since I get a little sloppy with the wax. It actually works. Now if you use jelly, I think I will laugh.

Couldn't peanut oil be used instead of PB?
Now we'll have a big arguement about what kind of peanut oil works best.

I used some Meguiar's NXT Cockpit Shine interior protectant sprayed on the corner of an MF towel. Worked it in real good then buffed it out with a dry corner of the same towel. Same result with less than half the calories. :D
PS. Be sure to buff it all off as it isn't meant to be used on exterior trim and will run when if gets wet.

Turtle wax tire black (it's a clear liquid) works well too. Probably better, and lasts longer, than peanut butter/oil

Urban legend. Any wax remover will work. Then ArmorAll the thing and it's good as new.
However, peanut oil is the thing for removing those rubber boogers that wind up on the rear fenders after burnouts as well as anything else sticky like the residue from duct tape, those dealership logos, etc.
