I want to take my car to the track to get a baseline on it bone stock. Then, I'd like to reflash it with my DR Excal2 with the performance tune (which I already have) and install the CAI in the pits before making another pass. Can anyone tell me if I can just pull into the staging lanes after making the changes, or do I need to drive the car a certain distance so the computer can learn the new settings before it wil do any good?

From what I know, you should beable to go right back on once your done installing the CAI and the flash.

Ray, the new parameters from your performance tune will take effect immediately after the flash. The only potential bug in your plan is that the PCM *may* take a few miles to adapt to the CAI...so you *may* not get a totally accurate before/after...

Ray, if it was me, I'd make a few passes without bringing it off the line too hard, and getting into it a little more on each sucessive run. By the end of three runs it should know what you're up to and get into it's "let's boogie" mode. :burnout:
