Got my injectors installed and got it tuned. Thanks to Aric at Team Ford for getting a N/A car to make good power, perfect 13:1 AFR, good driveability with 60 lb. injectors! Most folks would skip this step since it'll have to be re-tuned soon when the blower is installed, but I want to ensure good driveability every step of the way.

Already have the D1 in the trunk, waiting for the intercooler and pipes. Hope to have it blown before the first weekend of August for FFW Bristol. Looking forward to showing some 'stangs what a full grown car can do!

Sounds good FordNut... always good to see another Marauder getting blown. Building your own setup - now that's cool. Forget the middle-man. :D

Couple of questions:

The D-1 cools with engine oil no? (just wondering why you didn't go with the D-1SC)

Are you planning on going air-to-air or air-to-water intercooler? Who's intercooler?

What boost level are you aiming for?

I hope you luck with the tuning. Sounds like Team Ford is up to the task.

Yep, building my own. This is the way I had planned to do it a long time ago, then a couple of air-air kits were developed so I held off on my kit until I could see those kits. Neither of them was EXACTLY what I wanted, so here I am. LOTS more expensive this way, though.

Actually it is the D1SC.

I'm using the Spearco air-air intercooler.

Planning for around 10 psi for now. Next year I'll probably build up an engine and bump it to 15.

Yeah, the tuning so far has been a bear. Most tuners I talked to said they wouldn't touch it. Claim that 60 lb injectors can't be turned down enough to work well on a N/A engine. Proved that theory wrong!

Finally found the opportune time to let the wife know I'm gonna get blown!

Don't have to avoid those supercharger discussions any more. Whew, what a relief!

Proved that theory wrong!I have had the 60 lb injectors in my car for a couple of months now. Had to get a good tune for them though by Scott Beer at Diablosport. The car runs strong and great aournd town being my daily driver. Pushing 12 lbs of boost and driveablility has been great. Doing a final tune on Saturday at Diablosport with Scott after installing a duel Cobra fuel pump. The Walbro 255 was bouncing all over the place with fuel pressure at the higher RPMS. Spearco is a great intercooler. I have had no problems though with the 2 core Procharger air to air. Best of luck with your car. Nothing like moding out your car with your own plan.

After one drives/rides a supercharged MM, what does getting laid matter anymore? After a few on-ramp romps, I'm too tired anyway.

OTOH...Bring the Lady with you, and there seems to be no problem. At least this is how it's been working for me. I heard about something called a "G" spot, and I know a little bit about "G" force, so, I just mixed them together and BANG! "G" whizz!

Back to our regular programming...

'Nut...A tip of my hat to you, Sir. 60# injectors on a N/A engine...Yes, this is a bit of "master" skill. I am officially jealous. Best wishes my friend, for a smooth transition to supercharged. Please keep us posted?
