I finally got the Roush spoiler installed. I could almost feel the pain when I drilled the holes in the trunk lid. It looks good. Costs more than the factory one but now my MM is "personalized" a little different from others. I like the looks of the Roush spoiler better than the factory one too. It weighs more and required re-adjustment of the trunk lid springs but it's all good now.

OK, but I've gotta clean it up first. Can't have witnesses that it's as filthy as it is. I did test a small patch of Zaino (under the spoiler before install, since it likely won't have another chance) and that stuff works like I would have never believed. Looked like black water (wet, smooth, reflective).

I'm curious because I ordered a Ford spoiler from ny dealer last summer
They STILL don't have it [Loooooooong story]

It's more work. It comes in a gray primer so you've gotta get it painted. It also does not come with any hardware so you have to come up with 2 studs, 2 nuts, and some padding to go between it and the trunk lid. On the other hand, it mounts with two holes and they are located near the edge of the trunk lid, outside the weatherstrip, so there is no possible problem with leakage into the trunk.

Now I like that spoiler! Where can they be obtained?

from Roush Performance Products, 1-800-59-ROUSH. It was $339 + $10 for shipping + $75 for painting.
Oh, I'm not sure how many are available. Comments on CVN led me to believe there were 10 or so available and no more would be produced. I didn't think to ask about it when I ordered but they did have 5 more left.

Much better than the one with the pedestals. No ricers here....

No hardware comes with it. Requires two studs and nuts. I put closed-cell foam tape on the surfaces that will contact the trunk lid. Studs & nuts came from my junk box, foam tape from Lowe's about $8.

call up 800-59ROUSH like posted above and ask for Eric.
He e-mailed me a while back offering these for sale, (he also e-mailed CVN and CVO as well) and he told me after a little while that they were all sold, but they had the moulds, maybe they're just stamping them based on demand.... so go right ahead and place your order.

I'm diggin' it!!! Still gives off that smooth look, but with a little attitude.
