Today we lost another legend in music. Luther Vandross died after complications from the stroke he suffered two years ago. Anyone that knows me knows that next to Frank Sinatra, Luther Vandross was my favorite singer. My best to his family.

He had and amazing voice, The Power of Love and Dance with my Father were my favorites. May he rest in peace.

Sad news, Slim. I have a lot of Luther here, and video too. Guess it's time it get it all duplicated to DVD. "Power of Love" was probably his best known mainstream cross-over release. It's hard for a rhythm and blues artist to make pop charts, but he did. And, without fame going to his head and spoiling his life. Rest in peace.
