What you ask? That seat of the pants thrill that most of you have already experienced by installing Dennis' wonderfull chip. Bought the chip, Denso's, stat and gears almost a month ago but since I don't have a garage and this New England winter has been nothing short of unbearable, the goods have been sitting in a box collecting dust. Well, Finally Mother nature cooperated and gave us a nice day. Yesterday was 48 degrees!!!! I installed the chip and Denso's.
The car runs and idles great. The tranny feels, well, like a tranny should.
I'm very happy with these products and the gains they have yeilded.

Installing the chip: Overall and easy job. Removing that dammm plastic panel under the dash was probably the most difficult part. Cleaning the gunk off of the EEC motherboard card edge was time consuming but not to difficult.
I didn't have time to install the on/off switch for the chip but will do so in the spring.

The Plugs: piece of cake!

Gears next. I need to call a few more dealers before I resort to having the local speed shop do the job.

This is my first "thread" so let me take this opportunity to thank Logan and LML for creaating and maintaining this great site and to everyone that contributes technical expertise. Lots of usernames come to mind but I must say that the Sarge is the Man!! Don't ever stop giving us your two cents dude. :bows:

Thanks hd, I'm in Taunton. Methuen is a hike....about an hour north of me. I won't rule it out though. What did you pay to have them installed?
thanks again,
Mike
