We have a timeslip database here at the MM.Net that's been recently overhauled. This was the product a member poll, and it's one of the few corners of our site where MM.Net members have had their say in how it's to be managed. The poll was open to all members for over a month, and the pages of discussion gave everyone an opportunity to be heard. The results were put into play by Administrators, and it is what it is today, by popular vote.

One of the points agreed upon, is that the Timeslip Database is for Marauders only. Yet, one of us (and I'll not say who) continues to post a timeslip for a non-Marauder automobile. Perhaps this isn't a big deal, it's going to happen every once in a while when someone doesn't know the rules. However, this member continues to sneak in and post a timeslip identifying his automobile as a "300A", or something like that, and four times now. This is no accident, or, misunderstanding, is it.

To whom it may concern...Your automobile is not a Marauder, and it's that simple. Nothing personal towards you, so, kindly respect the wishes of the membership at large who participated in decision, before you find yourself unwelcome here. You are creating extra work for the Administrators and moderators, and I'd be surprised if any of them think it's cute.

Thank you, Mac. Judging by the response in the response in the "Timeslip Database Update" thread http://www.mercurymarauder.net/forums/showthread.php?t=19171 , the changes are being well received.

This bears repeating:

The Final Word.......

Marauders only
Timeslips required for Sub 12 cars
Simulated data allowed, if properly identified, for 15+ sec. cars
Reaction Time, Temp/humidity, 330'/1,000' are new fields in your Profile page (this info will show up in your Profile but not on the Timeslip page.)
Next items up for cleanup:

timeslips for sub-12 cars
Sub-15 cars must have 1/8 mile stats and 60' time
15 sec. and above: please note in "major modifications" the unit you used to simluate the data.

Please update your information, as detailed above, or the database will get shorter. Thanks!!

You have way too much patience! An accidental discharge is one thing but a repeat offender. :bs:

I just want to say that I truly appreciate the work put forth to make our database unique to our cars, I have no idea who the Sarge is referring to. The only thing I notice is that when I click on N/A cars only, at the top of the list is very powerful 447 hp entry, I believe this is simply an oversight were the gentleman forgot to change the entry after he S/C'ed his car.:D

Ummm...Well, mostly cuz I haven't been paying attention to the timeslip debate in the slightest, I figured Mary had it well in hand. Someone feed it up on a silver platter to me, who's messing with success?
