I can't go to Detroit with those unsightly gashes in the rear bumper from my backing adventures into the garage. To that end, I stopped off at Scott's and he drove me home then took the girl back to his shop for her face lift. If the skid plate thingey from Dennis gets here in time, I'll drop it off and let him install that as well. I'm betting it's gonna be worth a few MPG on the trip to Detroit. Thing is, now I'm gonna have to be on the lookout for where Charlie's parked.

We're buying 'em faster than poor Dennis can get them ordered, and he's wisely ordering 'em at 20 a clip. Not the thing he wants to get stuck with, at $60 a pop.

Hey! :thinker: Dennis can sell the extras to the Florida cops!

I'm waiting to hear how Barry likes his. :D

Whats this skid plate thingy? Does it also help with bumper sag?

This thing is NOT a skid-plate! One shot from a rock and it's toast. It's a composite plastic. The cool thing about it is this: It firms up the lower part of the rear cover and comes with better hardware. I put mine on tonight, and used the slots in the holes to eliminate my bumper sag.
