I've seen different lengths from Energy suspension. Are longer endlinks for the rear better or worse? What's the right length?

The length of the endlink has nothing to do with the performance of the bar, unless it is a spring loaded end link. All a normal end link has to do is fit, not hit anything and provide a durable link to the suspension/chassis (whichever one is the case) for the bar.

Hardware for the links (and bushings for the bar) can make a big difference, soft rubber has more give and is quieter but at a trade-off of more sway and less control from the bar as opposed to polyurethane or the even stiffer nylon link balls and bushings. Some racing setups I've seen even have steel bearings instead of bushings and ball-joint equipped end links for absolutely no play giving total control of sway to the bar.
