Please don't flame me for starting another tire thread! I need some educated info. I am going to put the KDW2's on stock wheels. Going to use 255/55/18 on the rear. Please tell me which will be better, and why, on the front...245/50/18 or 235/50/18. :help: All help will be appreciated! Thanks!

I'm not going to flame you, but I'm not going to answer a third tire/wheel thread in less than 24 hours.

I went one size larger on the rear KDW2's- 255/55/18 no problems with the traction control at all. I kept the stock size on the front because some Members had a complaint they went one size larger and the tire rubbed the inside wheel well.

I've had the KDW2s on just about as long as anyone. Go with the 235/50/18s on the front. It will look the best (continue to have the proper "rake" for the car) and handle best.

I can testify that TAF has a great setup. I hope to follow his lead next year.

Hehehe...You two are a trip! Guess I have to walk on egg shells, again, just like the old days. Thanks for my reminder, guys, I'll watch my step, K?
Todd...Does it help any between us for you to know that I have resisted two offers now, to cut up/out what you put together for my 1x MM exhaust system?
Since then, I bought a Kook's kit, looked it over very closely, but came to sell it to a friend because he needed that performance gain more that I did at that time.
I almost bought the 3" offering from Al Noe at Stainless Works, but the scheduling of Al's install offer gave me time to think again (life as an impulse buyer?). So, I still have my original Reinhart/Cobra exhaust system in place, as refined by you, and it's performing so well, I can't let it go. Well, not until other things change. Doesn't this earn me some space from our personal history?
Okay...I guess not. Old injuries do not always heal. But, it's your problem/issue now, not mine. My olive branch has been out here a while now, so be it.
Folks...Y'all...It should be quite obvious to y'all by now that MartyO, TAF, and I used to be friends. From my point of view, good friends, close friends. Many hours on the telephone, with personal (and valuable) face to face meets, overnight visits between citys, pickups at the airport, and collectively, our truely best effort to find, produce and promote only the very best of mods for y'all MM owners.
Lapel pins, fender badges, induction bellows, control arms, drive shaft loops, shock absorbers, springs, knock sensors, EECs, tuning, tuners, dealership support, dealership cooperation, gears, tires, wheels, wheel mods, gauges, gauge pods, tranny mods, tranny cooler Hell!, even engine builds!
My point is, is that the three of us have had our fingers all over this crap, and in the real world to boot. And it's not over, or, done...Yet.
Sadly, it's not that way anymore, and I apologize for this spill-over. Y'all don't need to watch this, again. Y'all carry on now, don't let our personal squabbles get inside your head. Ask what you need to know, but give us old-timers a break too? We have been answering questions for better than 3 years now. Ask out of true need, not just being lazy, or, looking for an easy answer?
Tire sizes that work...Look here, and learn something about your MM for yourself?

So...How about it, Martin? Todd? Can we lay down our swords, or, do I need to wear this "sgian dubh" (http://www.oregonknifeclub.org/dubh.html) like what (and why) it was presented to me in Barry's back yard. Do I need to wear this full time?
Y'all decide, I'm negotiable on the outcome.
