So it was about 2am- coming back from a party (dont worry I dont drink or smoke, or get tired) and it was in New York City - on the West Side highway.......If any of you are familiar with the WSH North -- it's a series of lights on this highway until it reaches just a straightaway *sortof* to the GWB. So in the series of lights this S4 had been flooring it -- knowing the loudness of the KOOKs he was just trying to challenge me. I never floor it around the lights - cops and turns and such. So we get to the wide open section............

and the S4's already ahead, since i was behind some yellow taxis.....So I go ahead and floor it and catch up while he's gunning it down the highway. I fail to catch up, since I was late on the throttle with him by a good 10 seconds.....So whatever he turns his blinkers on to say he was the winner after we both hit a good 100+ mph. Then he slows down to about 40 so we can finally have a fair race. He starts talking trash and how German always wins over American (i failed to see that connection) but so then I brought up the argument that I didn't go ahead and spend 50 grand on my car.... We both floor it right there.....and the S4 doesn't completely peace me out. It actually took until about 70 that he could get a fender ahead of me - and by 100 he was half a car length ahead. (2004 S4s are AWD, 350 hp V8s) ................
this continues to about 115

We see cars and we both slow down and then by ways of traffic I get the lead - although we aren't really racing. Then he decides to start tailgating me, (which is a horrible idea) so I mash the gas and start leaving him. The S4 sticks close by, and gets the chance to pass me in an open lane but cannot....my earlier nail on the throttle gave us a 15 foot span - he could not close the gap.

the S4 is much lighter (considering my weight as well lol ) and the only modification on my car is the KOOKs system - I am impressed that I kept up with him....Anyway that's the story until I get my SCT, 4.10s, and intake installed - until then........Happy motoring! and German killing!

Racing on the George Washington, I love it. Imagine if you had a 100Hp shot of NOS.

The Westside Hwy is a very dangerous road. I had patrolled it for several years and have seen many fatal accidents. Use extreme caution on that Hwy.
