Bakers 7-10-05

[Hack Goby]

It was like Woodstock for cruizers Sunday at Bakers of Milford a small but rapidly growing comunity in western Oakland county where they still have horse farms and two lane country roads.And like Woodstock those two lane country roads were packed with cruizers of every shape and size who came to hopefully get there car in Car Carft Mag.who was covering the every Sunday event but mostly they came to pay there last respects to Paul Baker who passed away suddenly early last week.The Motor City Crew made a good showing with MarauderMike,BigSlim,DeeBar,St lr fn,John O`Brian,Fast4Door,DogZebra,Tim Ellis and his wife Roxanne,RenegadeTrucker,and myself with the Trilogy SEMA Marauder.There had to be at least 400 cars there with a line over a mile long just to get on.It was a Sunday I will remember for a long time.Another hilite while we were there was Jerry calling Darryl with the good news on his 11.29 run a Norwalk.Life is good!!!!!!! http://home.comcast.net/~hack_goby/DSCN1409.JPG http://home.comcast.net/~hack_goby/DSCN1408.JPG http://home.comcast.net/~hack_goby/DSCN1413.JPG http://home.comcast.net/~hack_goby/DSCN1403.JPG http://home.comcast.net/~hack_goby/DSCN1411.JPG http://home.comcast.net/~hack_goby/DSCN1404.JPG

A few cars like the ones that I owned over the years. It is nice going to shows and seeing some of our past. I had a 74 Chrysler Imperial and a 84 T-Bird.

This was a sweet Focus. Believe it or not but this car weighs 3800 pds. Horsepower was 453 RWHP. I can't remember the torque number.

YES HACK the weather was great at bakers :cool: i would like to say im sorry to the driver with the red MM that pulled over on milford rd i had no idea that you pulled over for me.

next time i will know to pull over.

i learned alot about the car we drive and the SUPER CHARGERS look good on the ones that had them on it.
