Not without a very thorough examination (Pulls back white latex gloves)

It depends on what the asking price is. There is no warranty on this vehicle anymore.

I think this would require a long test drive, preferrable by someone who has/knows Marauders. I would want to see reciepts for parts replaced. I would think a good price would be lest than $17,000.

Right now it's just over $2K Bid $4K and you'll have a bunch of parts.
BTW, this may be the first Light Flint interior I've seen in Michigan.

Careful, some states won't issue a title based on a salvage title. (don't know which will and which won't). My opinion of value with a salvage title is under $15,000. :o

If the price was low enough I'd bite, anything over $10,000 forget it.

If the price were low enough, I'd give it a try, but not without a thorough going-over.
I am surprised that someone actually went through the effort to replace the frame. And if the chassis was actually new, that set them back about $3700 (according to FordParts.com: https://www.trademotion.com/partlocator/index.cfm?action=getLocator&siteid=213914&chapter=DR2LA03&appSectionid=4415&groupid=52000&subgroupid=3952&make=23&model=Grand%20marquis&year=2003&catalogid=2 )
Of course, marauders are pretty special  :D

The 2003 300B had no clock in the dash (it was in the radio display) and no pockets in the seat fronts. My 2003 made in June 2003 has neither. FYI.

And then it hit me. He painted the grille silver to match the body color. Silver Birch MM's have black grille slats, with the outside part painted body color.

Looks like a good repair however the salvage title makes it Very Hard to Register it. It has to be inspected and then re-titled. 10k is perfect price for that car considering all the BS you have to go through to get it on the road.

..."This is a rebuilt salvage vehicle, all parts used had to be documented with receipts present, a state inspection was necessary to title and plate vehicle...Seems to me the vehicle is already titled and plated here in Mich. Hmmmmm.

Did some searching on auto trader.com; since he said it was listed. He's asking 19,800. Too rich for a salvaged Marauder.
Here's the listing:http://www.autotrader.com/fyc/vdp.jsp?car_id=185296578&dealer_id=56553931&car_year=2003&make=MERC&distance=100&lang=en&max_price=&model=MARAUDER&sponsorModel=&sort_type=mileageDESC&end_year=2004&min_price=&certified=&address=48094&search_type=used&advanced=&isp=y&start_year=2003&cardist=4

If ya look hard enough at the grill you can see they are one in the same car. E-bay vs. Auto Trader

$19.8k is way too much for a salvage title!

If you can get it under $10k, and it doesn't have a salvage title,
with the mileage it has, you can get a Premium Care Warranty
and never have to worry about the car again...
