Hey,
I'm new here, but am a member on other forums as well. I did a search but couldn't find anything about 'time' to install or cost ?

What are folks paying to get these installed ?
Do you have to R/R the entire rearend or just the front or rear of the carrier ? I haven't crawled under and looked, but even so, it might not be that easy.

Anyone in Washington, DC find a good place to get this done ?

Thanks !!!

I live in Ashburn, VA. I'm currently not an owner yet, as I'm searching for a deal out there. I'm just deciding what mods I'm gonna slap on her once I found my deal. I've found a few used, with low miles in the mid 20s which isn't too bad.

Any idea what they charge for it ?

Well, my wife is having it done for me, but it's not that expensive. For the $.10's and Pullys, less then $300 I think.

BTW, I purchased at Jerry Ford Licolin Mercrury in Leesburg mack in July or August, and though I paid full price, I was pleased with their service.

Hey,
That's not bad a price for that install.

Funny, your list of mods is exactly what I'm pricing out ! (I'll probably add a K&N). I'm sure the thermostat is easy, but a mess... Coolant everywhere.

You'll have to let me know once your done and give me an impression of a ride ?

I hang out with the local Mustang club cause there arn't very many local Marauders. Once it's all done, if you show up, I'll let you take her for a short spin.

I posted this elsewhere. But, if your looking to buy gears, Diversified in Plymouth MI is selling Ford gears for about $140. I think their number is (734)459-0130. I don't have any affiliation with them.

My dealer ship wants 4 hours for installation of the 4:10's
and another hour for thermostat plugs and chip install.

Might as well, then it is definitely under warranty

I just received the Ford Motor Sport 4:10 kit, and can't wait to get them into the car.
