Jackie is what all my brothers, sisters & friends I grewup with have always called me, so I used it as a handle. Jack is what I go by. I use to get on this cite before but I must have let it run out.

My plan for my car is to repaint it superdark metallic red with bright metallic red highlights and possibly the brake rotors too. I want to "superchip" it and do other subtle changes to peak the stock setup. I don't want use forced air or NOS, because the cars run pretty damn good right out of the box. I'll probably get a K&N filter setup , but that's about it. Has anyone found out how fast an otherwise stock setup will run (top speed)with a new chip?

Has anyone been able to get an replacement grill without the emblem? I would like to do that possibly when I repaint it. I'll probably remove the rear emblem too. But I'd like to change the one on the steering wheel. Do you remember the stick-on badges that were offered on here before? I can't remember what they looked like. How do I get crome valve covers?

A quick search will find loads of detailed info, but brief replies are:
1) sometimes on ebay, otherwise look up Ray (TheDealer) and he'll give you the best deal around for new ones. There are some stick-on emblems you can put on the steering wheel button (search), but there is something nicer in the works.
2) Contact Zack. Do a search.
3) Contact Marty, he just ordered a new (and probably the final) production batch. Do a search.
4) Buy a set and have them chrome plated (or powder coated). PITA to install.
5) Headers, chip, underdrive pulleys, electric water pump are the best bang for the buck.
6) Tons of stuff. Look at the link in my signature for my list.
7) Dunno, never done it. Some recommend Zaino. Search...
8) Yes.

Welcome to the site jackie47 You'll find out that there's nothing special about these Marauders. :rolleyes:

But to answer your questions:

1) Yes they are the center caps. And I think people have modified the sterering wheel can't remember how.

3) Don't think so. Not the original metal ones. Decal ones see bob white decals.
4) FRPP
5) Gear's, XCal2 tune, Pullies, Mezier water pump, CAI, are the easiest ones I can think of.
6) Billet Dead Pedals, Door sills, stereo mods, list is endless.
7) I'm curretly using Meguirs leather cleaner.
8) I think the MM.net store does.

I'm sure others will chime in with more.

Here is the God's head on my car. Welcome to the site. Fender badges were handled by Martyo. The lst for mods is growing all the time. There are those that others have already spoke of. You can do chips-tuner, rearends, under pulleys, headers, but the granddaddy of all is a supercharger. There is also a lot of custom billet and suspension work you can do. good luck with your mods.

Car Motorsports is bringing a Mercury Head round emblem to cover the waterfall emblem on the steering wheel. This will be a metal emblem cover like a pop bottle cap that fits over the OWM emblem. The other emblem is a clear plastic bubble with a foil Mercury Head attached to the bottom, this is stuck to the waterfall emblem covering it up. I have one of these, but I've forgotten the source. Anyone?

Sean Hyland Motorsports sells them online, though they are pricey. $500 a pair with a $500 core charge unless you supply the valve covers. Typically, the cost to have valve covers polished and chromed is about $500 a pair, not inlcluding the price of the valve covers.

The "Reinhart Stage 1" approach, which is 4:10 gears, rear sway bar, underdrive pulleys, 180 degree state, cooler plugs, and a chip/dyno tune.

Welcome to the site. I ordered the centercaps from the local dealership. "TheDealer" (aka Ray) is a member here and he'll probably give you a discount on them.

The stick on steering wheel badge can be bought from member "AG3R" (Alan), pm him for the info.
