Marauders in Los Angeles area?

I was in the LA area on a family vacation last week hitting most the amusement parks (Disney, Magic Mountain, Universal Studios) and only spotted 1 MM (silver w/spoiler). I even noted the day and time (7-7, 11:00 AM) on I-5 northbound if this was anyone on the board. It passed me on my left in the fastlane and did my best to get my lovely light green rental Taurus to catch up....no luck. I never see any on the road at home in Seattle and I really expected to see more in a larger city.

I did see more new 300's in a week than I've seen in a year at home and several new Chargers.

Did our car not sell well on the west coast? Anyone ever seen new sales based upon state or region?

I don't think it was Karthurma. (Only silver one I know right now) As far as finding Marauders out here it is hard because everyone is so spread out and fewer hang out on this site. In two months I've seen 4 black MMs that I don't know who they were, 2 in San Diego, 1 passing Carlsbad on 5 south, and 1 on Camp Pendleton. As far as selling well on the west coast I think there was a thread started about that.

I am in the Washington, DC Metro area of some 5 million people or so and I have only seen about 6 Marauders on the road in my 21 months of ownership. :rolleyes: One of those was on the way home from work today !!! :D The only time I see more MMs is at the monthly CAM meets here in the area. :up:

You're right though .... I can't go 2 blocks without tripping over a 300C. :rolleyes:

I don't beleive they were publicized as much out here as they were back east and in the mid-west. I've owned my300A since Aug 30th and I had to go out of state to find it. Pretty upsetting though, I'd had mine for 3 weeks and live in a city of maybe50 or 60 thousand and low and behold I was driving down the main street in town and there is another black marauder. I go to LA every two weeks and I did see one on the 405 awhile back. I test drove one I found on line for sale in LA because I could not find one for sale in Colorado. I ended up seeing one at a local dealer in Colorado one Saturday afternoon and bought it.

mine runs up and down the 5 daily btw pendleton and SD and up in Los all the time.

I go to LA every two weeks and I did see one on the 405 awhile back.
I was in LA last week for several days and travelled the 105, 405 and 605. No Marauders in sight ... but they must be giving away the Dodge Magnum and Charger out there 'cause the place is littered with them. :rolleyes:
