While visiting Cycle Station in Umatilla FL today, at 11:20am, I spotted a Black MM going North on Hwy-19. Never saw a MM like this one. It had Chrome over the "B" posts, plus Chrome Wheel Opening Edging. I think it also had different wheels, Chrome and larger than stock, but I was so surprised at seeing the other Chrome, I did not have time to check out the wheels while it went by. The grill had the "Waterfall" but from the side, at first I was not sure if it was a MM but then again, from the back, it had the "Waterfall" on the trunk lid plus the MM/CV tail lights.
I had my MM parked next to the Cycle Station building so I don't know if he saw me.
Anyone know of any Black MM's in Florida that look like this?
BTW. I'm glad my wife did not see that MM as she would love it. She thinks my MM looks too plain. She likes Chrome. On second thought, perhaps I should sell the Continental and get a second MM and put Chrome on it just for her.

Did it have the unique bumper covers?
What you described is either a 2004 GM or a Marauder with a definitely unique owner.

Was not a GM because the tail lights did not go across like the GM. Had tail lights only in the corners like the CV and MM. Also had the Waterfall on both the trunk lid and the grill.
I was so surprised to see all that chrome, I had to do a doubletake when I saw it coming and when it was passing by. Thats why I made sure when I took a good look at the rear when it passed the shop, to make sure it was a MM.
Told my wife about it. Was surprised she did not tell me I should do the same thing.
One last thing. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder. What you and I may not like, may look great to someone else.

I think the wide chrome wheel opening covers may be a dealer installed option, as I've seen several GM's, in this area, with it added; and, as you say, Bob, perhaps it's not for everyone, but the one's I've seen, sure got my attention. :)

We can rule out Zack, he's at a car show in Homewood.

I'm confused about the taillights description. The 2004 GMs I see around here (and there's lots of them) have the exact same taillights and backup lamps as my Marauder. Waterfalls are the same too.
Only outside appearance differences are the bumper covers, tailpipes, wheels and of course all that ugly chrome.
And if you look close you can see my Metco control arms. :D

GM's have tail lights on the corners like the MM and CV, however GM's have additional red plastic (not sure if it lights up) that goes across the rear of the car up to the license plate. The MM and the CV have only the tail lights in the corners.
My wife loves the way the rear of the GM's look. Says they have more class then the rear of the CV or MM. (What the heck does she know, anyway:down: ).

Saw it again this morning. At least I think it was the same MM. Saw it heading East on SR44 at the corner of SR44B, just East of Eustis.
Was surprised at all the chrome. This time, I noticed that it also has a chrome (or stainless) strip that is about six inches high, that runs the length of the car, down low, just above the rockers.
If I keep seeing this MM, I may get to like it <grin>. ;) I know my wife would love it so I'll have to make sure that if I ever see it when she is with me, I won't point it out to her. (She always tells me that if something happens to our Continental, and we can't find another good one, she wants a GM :D )

I was gonna say, was it really green, but I think I'll keep my mouth shut.
