I second your thought. I had a great time as well...It was pretty:fire: hot but they dont call it the SUNSHINE state for nothing. The food was great the members were friendly as always and the raffel was good. At least we all got to go home with something. The ride over was fun with our convoy except for the massive tie up on I-75 north wich we had to turn around and take a detour,( Zo I hope you got out all the grass from the engine. Your car works very well as a lawnmower too ) ,then the car fire....But we made it in time. Claude and I were speaking about having 2 picnics a year ...( every 6 months ) One on the east coast and one on the west coast. What do you guys think? Again thanks to Mel, Tallboy, Carfixer and all the west coast members for the southern hospitality. See you all at the next meet or picnic.....

The picnic was great. Glad the east coast and central FL guys could make it. Thanks to Mel, Claude and Chuck for the work they did.
Even had the chance to kick the :censor: out of a Charger R/T twice on the way home. I left him at the gas station. I figure he'll be returning that car to the dealer.
So all in all it was a beautiful day.

A great time was had by all in my family. Mel you sure know how to throw a party.
The ride home was eventfull, I had the right rear tire blowout on I75 it figures they are all new. Had to change it in the pouring rain.
The tire is toast. good news the spare works.
TALLBOY. Thanks for pulling over to render help.

This is our one and only Eggie modeling the latest in the Sunshine State Marauders heat deflector.
This smile got much bigger after his ride with Carfixer, and I think the lovely head gear disappeared just after their first launch.
Sorry Eggie, but I just couldn't resist.

This was one fun trip. With 6 MMs and my beast, we did pretty good getting there (and stopping quick). As for the picnic, I had a great time. A very special thanx to DJV5150 for letting me use his wireless laptop to run OASIS reports for Lou (membership coming soon) and King and Queen Fubar. Lou has one of the "Pre-decontented" 300Bs, which, after this picnic, will not stay a virgin for long. I also had the pleasure of meeting some of our other members (Uncle Buck, 3DogNight, Pack_Rat, Olde Kid) and had some nice conversations with them. Lou was also a pleasure to talk to. Before we left, Claude fixed MarauderMarc's MM. He had a very large air bubble from the last t-stat repair. Luck was on his side to make it here like that. Thanx to all who made this happen: Bootlegger, Tallboy and Carfixer. And thanx to all who supplied the prizes: Trilogy, F.I.T., SouLRioT, UncleBuck, & Shakes_26.
BTW, I won a Trilogy t-shirt.

Sorry for the late post...the night before the meet I only got 2 hours of sleep due to detailing my MM....slept 14 hours lastnight. I had a blast at the picnic. It was nice to finally put faces to the many names that I speak to on the forums. Many thanx to all that were invlolved in the planning and setting up of the picnic. It was nice to see the many different personalities of each individual MM owner translated into their car..eh beast. No two were alike. Thank you Claude for the ride in your MM, the UDPs, and for fixing the air bubble in my cooling system. I will be contacting you soon about the nitrous install:) I am really impressed with the SSMs as a whole. What a great group of people. Its really nice to see people of different backgrounds all come together for the love of their and others cars. I am up for an East Coast picnic....might even be able to help with a location. Cant wait to do it again.......:burnout:

Hey Mel, great picnic! Claude and Chuck great cooking...Enjoyed seeing everyone and meeting some of the new members as well. Sorry I had to bail early guys. The wife was really patient with me staying for four hours in the heat. Couldn't convince her to stay any longer. Didn't realize you guys were going to be giving S/C demo rides. Hope you guys didn't take Maureen serious on the supercharger comments. She loves to start trouble, but all in fun.:)
Looking forward to the next picnic and get together.
