"Never been smoked in."
But, does it pass the Martin Ochs "never been farted in" test?

Interesting.
Anyone nearby who can go take a look and give us an honest assessment of the vehicle?

Shouldn't the rear trunk lid area be flat black for a 70 Marauder? Looks like the whole car got repainted so I'm guessing there must have been a lot of body work [read: bondo] done to it to require a complete repaint.
I'd pass.

I guess I can't appreciate it since its before my time but to me it just look like :puke:
Not a likeable car like a Mustang, Camaro, etc from the era.

I used to drive an Olds hearse (for business) that weighed close to three tons with the Rocket 455. That sucker would fly! Can't even imagine how a normal sedan with that engine would run.

My old Air Force buddy had one of these in 1971 and it was very fast for a big car. Ran mid 14s in the high 90s with just a recurved distributor, carb jetting, and an open element air cleaner. With the street tires it would burn rubber until you let off the gas. Fun car.

I don't think this is a REAL Marauder.
The seller says the trunk lid was NEVER Black.
Plus he hasn't posted the vehicle VIN.
Didn't all Marauder's have a BLACK trunk ?

I first knew of MM's when my Father bought one in '69. It was the X-100 model and did not have the painted trunk.
Just my :twocents: and them some.

According to what I read, the black paint on the tunnel was an option.
Note the column shift and bench seat. This makes the car undesirable in my opinon, as the original car was a "strippy" that is it didn't have options (like alluminum wheels, bucket seats, console shifter) that it could have had.
