Tore up a Bimmer, 325i

Well I was on my way home from the families house last night as I had just returned from a little vacation camping out. I was kinda tired, looking to get home, so I was cruising up I-95 towards Springfield.

When I merged I passed by a slower moving guy in a late model BMW 325i. He was driving slow and seemed be blocking my lane change (intentionally for whatever reason) so I slowed up, got behind him and then passed him on the left. When I did so my car downshifted and I guess he heard my exhaust note.

Next thing I know this guy is riding my tail like no bodies business. So he darts around, flies by me on the right. By the way I was doing nearly 80mph at that point. So I get over in the middle lane and gets infront of me and slows down again. Annoyed, and with my cruise on, I get back in the fast lane to cruise by. Again he comes in behind me and tails.

The odd thing was he wasn't some kid or anything, he was a guy in his late 40's wearing a suit.

So this goes back and forth a few times and finally I'm getting really annoyed at this guy bugging me. Each time he went to pass me I started giving it some gas to make it harder for him to the point he was flooring it go around. At that point I was very annoyed and decided to hit it.

I completely dusted the guy. It was no contest, and he got his @$$ handed to him.

So I let off and hop in the middle lane to cruise more towards the speed limit/flow of traffic. And the idiot does the loser fly by and then starts slowing up like he's trying to mess with me more.

I had had enough so I kept an eye on traffic and hit the next exit when he wouldn't have a chance to follow. Took another highway home just to avoid this idiot.

I don't know what his problem was but he could've caused one heck of an accident. I ignored him for 5 miles and then tried to play his game thinking he'd have enough and go aobut his business... :shake:

So next time you think it's just young people causing accidents by racing I just ran into an older gent who was more adament at being an @$$hat than most of the younger guys I've seen driving crazy.

In this case I felt safer blasting him, atleast he couldn't keep up. Going hte speed limit felt more hazardous to my health with this guy trying to play cat and mouse around my car...:fire:

I hope he felt bad when his expensive Bimmer got wasted, gues he should've been a man and gone for the 330 or M3... :) Or just buy a real car like a MM!

Probably a very good idea ... sounds like one of the "self-appointed" speed limiters that are so common in Northern Virginia. Or it could be that it was his first day out of the home for Azzholes !! :D Sounds like he had a relapse. :rofl:

I have no idea what he was trying to prove, one reason I bailed out of that situation. He certainly wasn't limiting my speed, everytime I tried to slow down and let him go by he'd slow up and come tailgate me again.

Part of me was wondering if he was some sort of law enforcement...one time I had a guy really driving aggressively around me, so I slowed to the speed limit and boxed him in before he could illegally cut by me on the right. He got upset, came behind me, pulled his visor down and hit the flashing blues/reds.

Turns out he was a Capital Hill police officer on his way to work. He was totally at fault and driving in a dangerous and illegal fashion. He pulled me over to scream at me and call me cuss words, and threatened to arrest me. I put my hand up and said "you're right, I'm sorry" and let him go about his business. Some of these guys might have a wide jurisdiction and I'd hate to find out the hard way!!

So I kinda had flashbacks when this guy was messing with me. Felt like he was baiting me the whole time for something. Probably just being an idiot but again I didn't feel like finding out the hard way he was a lunatic. :)

You are wise beyond your years !! :D I would have probably tried to assert my position .... and ended up doing 5 to 10 at Leavenworth or 5 & 10 at Woolworth. :D

I was at a traffic light next to a 645I and the driver, a guy in his 40's or early 50's looked over at me and gave me that "my car's cooler than yours" look.

At the green he punched it and jumped a car length ahead. I floored it and caught and passed him quickly. His eyes were as big as saucers as I passed him and he backed off immediately. So did I, but I just had to get this guys goat. This was only about a 150 yard drag race and I know the 645I is pretty powerful, so I think this guy didn't have it at WOT.

The 645 has power but not that much more than us and their power is horses, not torque. Had it been a real run...you would have got him out the hole but he would have gotten you at the top.

If there is little traffic around I like to get these guys behind me and pace with a semi.

The Capital metro area has 17 different law enforcement depts. all trying to be the top dog, thats allot of big male egos to look out for, the Judge won't let me open my mouth any more. Points, ticket fines, court costs, bang the gavel get out of my district. One reason I am laying low in ShangHai.
