Hey everyone, Bob Johnson here. There seems to be some very good interest in having the September CAM meet at Red Brick Station in White Marsh, Maryland. (www.redbrickstation.com (http://www.redbrickstation.com/)) I am hoping we can entice some of our North East Maurauder brothers and sisters to attend as well. I have tentatively reserved Saturday 9/17. September 11th is also available. We can have the banquet room from 1200-1600. Particualars are as follows: A great all you can eat buffet for $14.50 pp, includes soda, coffee, tea, etc. Add $10.00 pp for open house beer and wine. $170.00 for our own server(s) and bartender. Kids meals (10 & under) are $4.95 or $7.25 for the buffet. The restaurant sits in a "Main Street" type setting with diagonal parking in front. I am confident that I will be able to secure 20-30 parking spots right in front. I think it would be quite a site to have everybody "on line, on time" I look forward to your responses and input. If anyone has any questions or comments, please feel free to contact me. Hope to see you this Sunday in VA!!! Thanks, Bob.

Bob,
I am definitely interested and can give a tentive  now for at least 2 attendees. Will confirm later down the road. I prefer a pay-as-you-go food and drink arrangement; but if it is part of a banquet package .... then whatever is set up is fine with me. :D

As it stands now, given the number of people I expect, a banquet arrangement is the only way. I have been to a couple of banquet type parties at Red Brick, and have always found the food to be top notch. I understand the confining feeling one may get with prix-fixe menus, but I think it is the best way to go.

Are you getting a Handycap tag in the window. That's a sure way to keep Bluerauder from parking next to you.

To our Northeast brothers and sisters; This place is 5 minutes of I-95 exit 67(<--I think, I'm pretty sure). Figure about a 4 hr drive if you were coming from No. Babylon NY.

Yo Bob, now that is fast work!! Good job sir. BTW, An all you can eat buffet? Are they nutz? They WILL be on the losing side of this deal!! hahaha!

As much as I would like to attend this as well as the previous few months, chances are better than average that I will not be able to due to work and the kid ready to drop anyday now. Hopefully we will get to attend one in the near future.

Logan's Roadhouse is about 4 miles from the Air & Space Museum.

Route 28 (1 mile south) to US 50 (2 miles SE) to Route 7100 (1 mile south) to Fairlakes Parkway. The restaurant should be on the right at the intersection of Route 7100 and the Fair Lakes Parkway. BTW, 7100 is the Fairfax County Parkway.

Why are we posting July questions in the September thread ???? :dunno: and

Sorry folks. The wife has summoned me to a cabin camping weekend with her brothers and sisters at New Germany State Park in western MD that whole weekend. We spent the same weekend there last year too. The funny thing is that I spent most of that weekend last year scheming to buy my new MM which I finally got around to on October 9! Right now I scheming about trying to get a classic Thunderbird, like a 1960 or a 1970.

Maybe I'll see you in October.
